The 4Runner next to it's new little brother.

That is a bad a** 4runner. Cute dog too.
Awesome! "Little"? Doesn't little brother have bigger tires, motor, and everything?
Are those the OEM true beadlocks I've been reading about?

They would then be true beadlocks but they're not DOT approved and would not be street legal.
Lmao! Thanksid give body parts to have a garage that looked like that. :jaw:
Oh ok, I knew they cost extra but I thought I'd read that they would be street legal. Guess that makes sense though.
So what's in store for the Raptor? Looks like it replaced a Chevy Volt, but surely you're not gonna have DD on bigger tires than your trail truck?
Or... :wow2: you're not about to build it up and sell the 4R?!
The Chevy Volt is the wife's car and it's still around. Just not around for that pic. The Honda Civic Hybrid will be going soon. My neighbor is buying it for his son's first car. The son actually wanted my 4Runner but I'm not giving that up.
Thanks guys! Glad to help out.
Here are some pics from a recent trip.

Where are these pictures at? Looks like the Sierra Nevadas near the Dardanelle cones?
Chevy, Ford, Dodge, and Toyota? Interesting combo hahaha!
Where did you mount the antenna for the GPS?
I don't have any external GPS antennas. The internal antenna for the Yaesu APRS GPS unit and the Garmin work well so no need for any external ones.![]()
Cool.
Have you done anything new to your 4R lately?
Awesome Rig!!! I may "borrow" some ideas
Very nice 4Runner thanks for posting all the info, great ideas. You got my vote for the year. Good luck
Just read the whole build, very nice work. As much as I love 3rd gen's, I'm about 99% sure that if I got into a V8 4th gen, I'd never give it up.![]()
Very clean build! That Raptor. Yummy. The Viper. Yes.
You got my vote Dave. Good luck with T4ROTY!! One of my favorite trucks of all time by far.
