Yes, those are the OEM 17" forged Beadlock Compatible wheels that are a factory option. In present form they're not a true beadlock wheel. For $179 ea., you can get the beadlock rings and bolts from Ford Racing. They would then be true beadlocks but they're not DOT approved and would not be street legal.

Oh ok, I knew they cost extra but I thought I'd read that they would be street legal. Guess that makes sense though.
So what's in store for the Raptor? Looks like it replaced a Chevy Volt, but surely you're not gonna have DD on bigger tires than your trail truck?
Or... :wow2: you're not about to build it up and sell the 4R?!

I read somewhere early on that they were going to be street legal too. Maybe the lawyers at Ford thought twice about that prior to releasing them. Either way, I like the fact that the wheels are forged and the beadlocks are readily available. As for what's in store, nothing major. I've already done the three things I wanted to do right off the bat. Line-X the bed, install a Retrax Pro tonneau cover and replace the oem wire antenna with a stubby. Maybe a Stainless Works catback in the future but haven't decided yet. Nothing major. SVT did a pretty good job setting it up from the factory.
The Chevy Volt is the wife's car and it's still around. Just not around for that pic. The Honda Civic Hybrid will be going soon. My neighbor is buying it for his son's first car. The son actually wanted my 4Runner but I'm not giving that up.

It's the Sierra Nevadas but in the Shaver Lake area which is about 200 miles south of Dardanelles Cones. The first three pics were taken on the Bald Mountain trail and the last three pics were taken on the Brewer Lake trail. Brewer Lake was absolutely pristine. Smooth as glass with the occasional fish jumping.

Hahaha...Yeah, it's kind of an eclectic collection. I'm not one to lock myself into any one brand. Same way with motorcycles. I've owned Harley, Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda. Some people get way too hung up on brands. I just go with whatever model I like.
I don't have any external GPS antennas. The internal antenna for the Yaesu APRS GPS unit and the Garmin work well so no need for any external ones.

Just read the whole build, very nice work. As much as I love 3rd gen's, I'm about 99% sure that if I got into a V8 4th gen, I'd never give it up.
