Daystar 2.5/1 level kit question

I have a 2011 SR5 and for the life of me I can't find the 2.5"/1" kit everyone is raving about. I can find a 2.5" front only spacer but it does not the rear spacer.

Can someone provide the correct part number before i slit my wrists!:ybrick: lol

Ya your thread was the first thing I found but part KT09115BK shows 03 - 09. Have the vendors just not updated it's use for 10 -12?
 
Daystar now has a new kit out for the 2010-2012 4Runners, part number KT09134BK, just had it installed on my 2012. I do not not what the difference is between this and the above kit.

I tend to agree with Scott. I read contradicting ideas that the KT09115BK seemed to install and work fine (I know Brock and a few other guys on here were running that lift with no problems). I called and spoke with DayStar directly about this issue. The tech I talked to was Dom and his direct number is 623-907-0081. He assured me that the kit I needed was the KT09134BK. The 4Runner they designed the kit for even had XREAS, so he assured me that there would be ZERO issues installing and running this kit. He mentioned that the rear spacers were changed on this kit (from the KT09115BK) and all those with a 2010+ 4Runner should be running this kit if they choose a DayStar product. I told him however that many people were running the older kit without problems. His response was that it was simply not the correct kit and no matter what I hear, do not purchase and install the KT09115BK, but rather use the updated KT09134BK. I have already bought the recommended kit and am expecting it in within the next couple weeks (it is on backorder from DayStar). I will post pictures and results once the lift and tires are on. :thumb3:
 
Thanks, I just stick with products that I have had luck. In the jeeping world I tested tons of products on many rigs, daystar has been one of them. Its a fantastic kit for a daily driver. It does nothing for flex. As for Toytec, I am not familiar with them so I can't give any feed back on their products.
 
For you guys that have the DayStar lifts already (regardless of which kit), can you please post your new height measurements (from ground to fender)? Reason I ask is that I just ordered their kit, but already have the ToyTec front leveling spacer already installed (the 2" one). I want to see if it is going to be necessary to rip that out to install the DayStar front puck. I know it's slightly larger and being as anal as I am, will probably keep the whole lift DayStar instead of a Frankenstein lift haha. But I just want to see what this kit yielded you guys front and rear. Thanks!! :hatsoff:

Here is what I have for heights.

DF 37-1/2" to bottom of fender at center.
DR 38-1/8"
PF 37-9/16"
PR 38-1/8"

Slight dip on drivers front or maybe different air pressure in front tires?

As per DayStar, their KT09134BK does not pre-load the springs. The vehicle will handle and drive as stock (obviously with the added height though - so cornering should be adjusted ect).

Just ordered mine for the TE. Wanted to go OW but that will be coming shortly. Should get me where I wanna be for now.

i too plan on throwing spacers in until my warranty voids.

no magnusson moss up here so gotta be careful with them dealerships :uzi:

Yup .. my dealer sucks for this sorta stuff. Meanwhile they sell fj's and taco's with leveling kits. Will the daystar kit require uca's. This is tough for me to purchase coming from a full all-pro/fox suspension taco but hopefully it'll be ok for a bit. Got the daystars for $135 which was great ahha

figured i'd toss in the spacers then move onto a set of OME's once I have money to build mine into something more overland friendly :biggrin2:

don't think it needs aftermarket UCA's.

I'm considering them though.
