Daystar 2.5/1 level kit question

Those who have installed these, does the added hieght of the front end help with the nose dive at all? Just really trying to get the right lift for me the first time. My truck wont be doing any crazy offroading mainly highway and city driving, so the spacers seem to be the way to go.

1.) Does the added height of the front end help with the nose dive at all? No, They still use the same shocks and Springs. I don't have any issues with mine at all. I just learned how to drive the 4runner with the noise dive. I don't notice it at all after 15,000 miles.

figured i'd toss in the spacers then move onto a set of OME's once I have money to build mine into something more overland friendly :biggrin2:

don't think it needs aftermarket UCA's.

I'm considering them though.

Installed my kit last weekend, no big deal. Tuesday, alignment shop was able get camber spot on, but caster was around 0. If they increased caster, camber was out. Think UCA's might be in order to achieve more caster for stable highway use..............any suggestions?

Are you having any issues with highway driving with this kit? Does it feel squirly at highway speed?

Yeah it was squirrely, that's why I installed the LR UCA's. Caster was set to +4degrees, drives great! Changed them out last year and don't regret it :thumb:

bringing back a old thread. just ordered the lift tuesday, not that i forsee any issues just wondering if theres anything i need to look out for during the install?

This is the kit I plan on ordering for my 13 TE .

Im going to stay with stock tire size though . Firestone Dest. AT's . I ran them on my last 4R and were exceptional tires . excellent in all areas.
