Detroit Axle steering rack?

I need a new rack and pinion unit. I was internet shopping, and I found Detroit Axle on eBay. They have brand new units for $282 with free shipping and they'll still give you $25 for your core. Has anybody used them? Are they worth it? I know OEM Toyota is best, but I just can't spend $600, I'm sorry. I just don't have that kind of money right now. A Cardone new unit is $356 + shipping. I know that name more, but $100 is a big difference to me in price. What have you guys used?

Just ordered the aae rack from rock auto with now outer tre for 316 shipped, they apparently make the racks for safari rack also.
