Probably missed it, but what axle are you going to go with? I'm doing dual 23 spline gear driven cases, so pass drop.....went with an Fj80 front axle (that I'm widening two inches on both sides with 300M RCVs).....probably should have done a D60 instead after figuring out that I'm gonna probably weigh 6K.

Thanks for the offer! I have my old 2.28 gears from the Turbo 4Runner and I ordered the rest from Marlin. I could use a top shift high/low shift rail, and shift lever handle if you happen to have them lying around! :D

Due to my budget I'll be running a TG housing, Tacoma width driver side drop.

Yes!

Are you triple sticking? I found it easier to use the TG replacement stick for the front case when I was trying to get my sticks to line up.

Yeah, that's the plan. Thanks for the info, I might just order the TG shifter if it made the install easier. How did the linkage fit with your 1" body lift? Did you have to clearance the tunnel?

I'm running the radesign triple stick with just a .5" body lift and was able to get it in without having to massage the tunnel. So 1" will give you plenty of room.

looking forward to seeing you do this. It will be a joy to watch.

You will be heating and bending it - the solid rod made it much easier than when I first tried my stock shifter. Tried to get good pics on my install thread.

Linkages fit fine with the 1". I initially was going to leave the tunnel completely alone but ended up making an access plate to make getting at the shifter head assembly easier. You will get lots of practice connecting and disconnecting the shift rods.

No luck on the shift rail but i've got the shifter. Its yours if you want it. It will fit in a flat rate padded mailer

Was cruising into Woodland Park the other day and spotted it, back bumper and quarter panel protection was a dead giveaway!

Due to the placement of the automatic shifter I will probably be chopping the top off the shifter and building a new one. Something like the below configuration (found on another thread).

It's going to be more work, but I have to rework the crossmember and get a new front driveshaft anyway so now is the time to do it.

I drove this line with just the stock transfer case, having the auto with dual cases will be killer!

You will love the dual cases. On my third rig with them and they are an awesome addition. Hopefully for me they will help keep the breakage down with my 37s

Thanks man! The 4Runner worked awesome, I just got sick of replacing the same parts over and over without having a stronger option available. The IFS held up better than I ever imagined it would, and I ran trails I never thought possible when I first built the truck.
