Doing scheduled maintenance today and discovered silver/metallic colored grease all over the bottom side. Coming from front on both sides and it's really thick. It was getting late so low visibility, but possibly cv's? I would think it would be blackish colored if they boots were leaking...not sure of this silver grease...I have 05 Sport v8 4wd with 217k miles. Any ideas? Not making any noises and rides prefect.

Seems like grease from the cv boots.

Yeah, when my 4th gen's boots split, it was gray.
