In real life sure, but on the internet when there is something called google, no.

Hey guys,
Long time lurker. Bought a '10 runner this summer. Before I begin let me say that this forum has an amazing amount of information, and to all those that supply it thank you very much.
With that said, I feel that I am seeing more and more just flat out ignorant comments. My previous vehicle was an '08 tundra, and I was active on the tundra forums for quite some time. The tundra forums were great as well. Lots of info, and to be honest, more respectful posters.
My question to the guys with smart**s comments to OP's. Why? if someone gets on this forum with an honest question, or looking for opinions on a mod, why not give them an honest answer?
We all come from different regions of the country, and different backgrounds. So a question that may seem stupid to some of us is totally legit to others...i.e., snow driving to "ricer mods".
I guess what i am saying is that this is a site for people to get legit info on their 'runner. Any chance of it staying that way?
Once again thanks for all the info here. And i apologize to anyone offended.
thx
Mike
...dumb people piss me off especially when their answer is in the manual or a search away.
And how do you feel about people who cop an attitude, turn out to be dead wrong, and move on like nothing ever happened?
this is the **** that pisses me off http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/77556-washer-fluid-problem.html
Get over the CDL thread, seriously.
Besides, it aint the thread, it's the modus operandi.
Haha some of you guys are taking this all wrong. I...personally...am the thickest skinned, smart*ss b*s**** you will ever meet. On that note...I felt the need to say what many newbies to the forum WANTED to say after reading some of the posts/answers to their questions. Everyone on this forum is/or at one time was a newbie to something in life.
If I'm working on my truck one day and run inside to do a quick search on this forum for an answer, and this thread comes up, I'm going to be pissed. Threads like this, and people not searching and creating duplicate threads, are the reason people give smart-ass answers. I hope a mod moves this to off-topic.
I'd like to make an observation and hope nobody takes offense.
To those individuals claiming that their time it too valuable to deal with a few duplicate threads, let us not forget you are hanging out in an internet forum. It is safe to assume you have a little time on your hands.
that is safe to assume, and I agree. However, these forums should be treated as databases, not as chat rooms. There are sections of this forum that are appropriate for this type of discussion, however this is not the place.
