Maybe someone will chime in. Seems most guys who added the dobbinson suspension lifts added to a non Pro 4runner. Unless I missed someone on here that it was posted anyone replace there Pro fox suspension with this suspension. Also what do you do about the fox rear shocks because they come with the reservoir shocks for the rear.

I think there may be someone here who put the suspension on a Pro but I could be wrong. Keep in mind that Dobinsons has the MRR and MRA options as well.
I ended up cancelling mine and went with JBA. They refunded me the full amount without hesitation. I dealt with Jose @ Dobinson.
I need to get pics on level ground. This was in my driveway on an incline. It sits pretty level. Hope the front settles an 1”. I was hoping to keep 2” of rake higher in rear but only have an inch. The combo of 300/574 front gave me a little over 3”.
The garage photo is on level ground but can’t really see it how level it is. Better pics coming soon.

With the Pro Bilstein, guys have been replacing that pretty often, but not so much with the Fox. I think the Fox is a higher quality product too.
You'd just unbolt the reservoir at the frame mount and keep it attached to the shock.
Thanks for the info!! Maybe that’s why I’m seeing guys with the Pro’s with the fox suspension are doing the Cornfed spacer lifts. There is a dealership not far from me do a lot of dobbinson suspension lifts new on there 4runners and tacomas and sell them brand new so you have no warranty issues. But I have not seen them do any of the 4runner Pro’s taking off the fox suspension.

Just added the latest rear Dobinsons coil to the lineup.
C59-749V - 3" Lift, Variable Rate, long travel, suits 850-1000 LB super heavy constant rear load. You can ONLY run these if you carry at least 750LBS of rear constant weight at all times, or the vehicle will be over lifted and not ride correctly. The more accessories and parts that are being made for 4Runners these days, the heavier the coils have to keep getting!!
520/520mm free height, 18mm wire diameter, 198-300LB variable rate, usually around 270LB at loaded height
Made in teal, black and red powder coat. You can choose when ordering, it's the same price.

As far as I can tell, these are now the strongest true 3" variable rate coil available on the market for the 120/150 platform, and these are now the 4th option in the rear variable rate long travel coils Dobinsons has. All of them are listed in post #1 of this thread.

Other than the slight ride height reduction the truck seems to handle the added weight wonderfully. Any reason not to just pop in a pair (one per side) of PS59-4023 10mm spring spacers instead of swapping to 329 springs?

302/505 springs and 700/705 shocks with Dobinsons UCAs. 275/70/17 Wildpeaks.
Just a quick 2 month 5k mile update...ride height hasn't changed so it's still sitting at 23" in the front and 24"/24.5" in the rear (center of hub to fender) and quality of the ride is the same = great.
I'm curious how you think the ride quality is compared to stock. Everyone here says it's great but mine was extremely stiff when it was first put on. Playing with tire pressure and a year of use has softened it enough so that it is tolerable, but that's the best I can describe it, tolerable. Am I just the one out of ten with a bad outcome or am I just too picky?
Edit: Forgot to mention that UCAs made a huge difference. The ride was definitely intolerable for me before that. It still seems like it should be better to me, though.

Ride quality is much stiffer than stock. That said, I actually like it more than the squishy factory suspension. Lowering my tire pressure also helped a bunch to make it less of a hard ride.

That's a very common setup. Front will be about 3.25" once settled.

2" to 2.25", depending on weight carried and if there's a 3rd row seat or not.
no 3rd row seat and only carry a load when I head out on a trail.... sounds like this will be perfect, thanks!
