Before I began I have read over quite a few of the older "sag" posts, but am just looking for a solid opinion. I have a bad driver side lean on my 99 t4r sr5 v6. It has progressively gotten worse. I am about to order a stock height replacement suspension hoping this will fix it, including the springs for the front and rear. will this fix the leaning problem. It started learning about a year ago and is still on stock everything suspension wise I believe.

Okay, I've read a decent amount about the gas tank and battery and what not. But this is far more severe than just a standard driver side lean. One post from 07 had the exact same lean as mine but he never followed up on what fixed his. I've also read into the springs sagging on both from and rear causing the struts to work harder. Just funny how it only leans that hard on the driver side, which has also started causing tire rub on that side since it began. but that should be it correct?

Not that I know of, but most places do sell trim spacers for this reason.
just called Toyota, for obvious reasons the parts guy didn't know, the left spring is more expensive than the right! which confirms the OEM factor. I wonder if I went with their springs and a different shock would it fit? or if there's a decent OEM parts warehouse online I could order from. 500$ basically for their springs and shocks total

Talk to the parts guy and try to get the part#'s out of him. They are way cheaper online. Im running brand new OEM Toyota Land Cruiser Front coils in my rear and I got them for like $200 for the pair and my shocks where like $70 each for Tokico oem's. Local toyota will always charge a lot more than online.
So Jay! ordering the OEM springs for the front and snagging a shock that's not OEM will match up just fine? and I got the part numbers now, googling for cheap OEM springs and was gonna grab some tokI I shocks from somewhere decently priced for front and rear. But as stated, it's best to leave the springs Toyota OEM?

If your staying stock I would say oem is best. Tokicos are considered an oem brand for toyota so those are good.
didn't know that about Tokiko! new to the whole suspension thing on the 4 runner. Only had mine a couple years and just got it to 200k but runs like a champ, used to lowering Hondas haha why the land cruiser springs in the front, doesn't Tokiko make a spring strut assembly? And springs for the rear and seperate shock

The front coils off LC fit in the rear of our trucks. They give about 3-3.5" lift and the ride like an OEM coil. They also flex like crazy!! As you can see in my avatar.
Im not sure about the front tokico setup as I have never researced or ran them.
so would be getting Tokico shocks and strut assembly for the front (do those compensate for the driver side lean) and getting them for the back considered OEM? just out of curiosity what are you runnin in the front with the rear lifted. I wanna stay stock height I believe just want to make sure that whatever I'm about to order in fact does compensate for that lean as you stated earlier. I know OEM does but your saying Tokico is considered OEM so do they? if so I'll go ahead and order those tonight! I'm going to throw a picture up in a few of the lean so you can get a visual

Im running Old man emu up front. Tokico that I know of makes the shocks. I dont know about the coils, I didnt know they made the coil or who makes the OEM coil.
You can get a little lift if you go with the 1999 tall coils. I would research into those. You can get all the info from researching.
just want to make sure I'm about to do this right before I spend all the money. I am going to purchase the Toyota OEM coils, and probably the Tokiko shocks for the front should all fit together I'm assuming? And the back I don't think the coils are bad for so I'm just going to grab the rear shocks from Tokiko as well
Theoretically, toytec superflex coils. One coil is taller then the other. But from experience and having them on my truck. It doesn't fix it. Just my experience. But it's not that bad that you would be like, wow the guys truck is sagging.
yea, I'm not going to take the chances. Actually going to go with the 99 tall OEM coils and the Tokico R/T shocks. front and rear. anything will be better than whats on the because the sag is HORRIBLE. its gotten worse and worse with time. Im just used to dealing with Hondas and what not, and didn't realize the front suspension was a separate shock and spring, and if I took the OEM coil I could put it on a Tokico shock and everything fit

Yes and I fixed all my lean issue. Added the toytec front trim spacer to driver side coil and added the OME 10mm rear trim spacer on driver side to my LC rear coils. Now the front sits 34" on both sides and rear measures 35 1/4" driver 35" passenger measured from bottom of rim.
