Driver side window buttons flashing

I've read in a couple of other places on this forum regarding resetting the driver side window button. But the problem I'm having is a little different. Of the 4 window buttons on the driver side, all but the one for the driver window are flashing. (flash 2 times, 1 sec apart. Off for 2 sec, repeats). Thing is, the auto up/down functions for the driver window and the 2 rear windows work fine. I just can't seem to be able to open the passenger window using the driver side button. I can open the passenger window with its dedicated button. Also, the light on this button exhibits the same flashing behaviour as those on the driver side.

Anyone have a fix for this? I should note that the battery was disconnected for about 5 hours when I was installing some extra lighting. Is this just a simple solution like resetting the button?

From each window that you can't roll down from the driver position switches follow these steps.

1) Using the window switch next to each window, roll down all the way and continue holding the button in the "roll down" position for 2-3 seconds.
2) Roll up the window all the way and continue holding the button in the "roll up" position for 2-3 seconds.
3) Check the driver's position switch for that window and it should no longer be flashing and you'll be able to auto roll up/roll down.

This happens after disconnecting the battery (at least on my Lexus, I'm assuming it's the same on the 4runner).
