Lug bolts might be inch, and I think all the phillips & straight-slot screw heads too.
I carry inch wrenches in case I have to stop and help someone with a Harley.

Lugs are inch, everything else ive come across was metric. 12, 14 are common, and for the suspension some 17 and 19.
Lug nuts on my '03 are 21mm.

Lugs are 13/16" on my 07. I would have assumed 06 and 07 would be identical.

13/16" = 20.64mm
On the cross lugwrench I carry and use in my garage, the four ends are marked in both inch and millimeters, but the mm are hard to read, so I remember 13/16". On my torque wrench I use a 21mm socket.
There's got to be some fastener somewhere that's inch. I've had a wrench on just about every fastener on my Land Cruisers, and I've been involved as an engineer in making just about every part that goes on a car.
I seem to remember the zirc fitting on the driveshaft was inch on my LC, not the spider but the slide fitting, maybe that is inch...maybe....

The lugs are 21 mm on all 4th gens. Both of mine use the same socket. Various brands of sockets are snug when trying to use a 13/16. All suspension hardware is metric, some stuff bigger than 21mm, put on my lift over 6 months ago, don't remeber for sure. Many 10mm bolts/nuts under the hood. It does use a standard 5/8 Spark Plug socket if I remember right, been a little while since I changed either one, the 08 is due.
Get a full set of metric sockets and open end wrenches if you have not already. At least up to 21mm. Granted some standard tools are so close you can use them, 13mm = 1/2 inch ect... The racheting open end wrenches can be a big help when doing any suspension work. Make sure the set has a 14mm, some sets seem to leave that one out.:bluejump:

Funny, spark plug threads have been metric since the 30's, but I've never seen a metric spark plug socket. I assume the hex is metric, and the equivalent inch socket is close enough.
Still pondering...
