so last night...

I won some new multicam bdu's.. however though.. after i paid for it and everything.. the seller emails me ' hi, it isn't for sale anymore'

has anyone had this happened to them before?

reason the seller didn't sell it, cause it was too low of an price..

on the item, there was no reserve price.. it was just an open bid item.. i won it and paid for it.. now the seller doesn't wanna ship it.. can they do that?

i have brought from ebay before but never have i came across to an seller that doesn't wanna sell after is paid for..

thanks.

Open up a dispute through ebay and go from there. They will be the mediator, but more than likely the seller will just return your money.

I'm not sure if you have any other course of action other than that. You can leave feedback saying that you won your item and they didn't send it.

yeah.. I opened an case today..

was disappointed.. the seller had no reserve price, I bid for it.. paid for it and now the seller bail..

I asked ebay, isn't it an bid contract.. buyer pays and seller ships.. if that's the case, what's the point of the contract when they can't even honor it..

the seller just refunded me a little while ago.. i be leaving them a negative feedback..

Subscribing...never happened to me before...so, i want to be ready when it does. I think that a nasty negative response is about all you can do. In the end, a negative response may hurt his future sales...because people like me do read the responses before buying on eBay.

Good luck.

Yeah, the dispute center on eBay does a good job of mediating. They have lawyers and people who handle this stuff daily.

My father has had a few big issues on eBay. Most of the time, they just returned his money and the seller's rights were suspended. I can't remember off-hand if he ever was awarded the item though.

You probably won't see the item you bought, unfortunately. What was it?

so here is the final outcome of it..

I called ebay twice and they sent the person an email about my item..

within a few hours, the seller replied and has refunded my money..

what's the point of an contract when they can't even hold their end of the deal..

I understand if it were your first time on ebay and didn't know how to play the game.. but 2 years.. come on.. if the seller wanted more money, put an bloody reserve price on it then.

the item was an set of multicam uniform.. the seller didn't like it cause the price was a lot lower..

I'm debating rather or not to leave an negative or an neutral feedback on the seller.. the seller did refund my money.. but if that's the case.. what about future purchases? if the seller doesn't like the price it sold, he/she can withdraw from the contract? then what's the point of bidding then with an no reserve price..
