i wouldn't trust me and my family's life to these pos Chinese arms.

if it sounds to good to be true it probably is
and for lr its amazing this pos company is still around
i hope no one looses there life as this company's product testing is youz guyz
maybe they should try doing r+d before releasing a product
not to mention the damages and lost time and $$$
dont even get me started on this again

I had considered using ebay control arms on my 71 Cutlass because of the absurd prices of quality items. All of those are cheap chinese knock-offs of US made items. I don't want to support the chinese knock-offs, but the vast price difference makes it very tempting. If it weren't for the fact that a failure of these components could have dire consequences I opted to retain 40 year old originals.
Don't know these are from the same boat so to speak, but if they are a knock-off and vastly cheaper I would think so.

First, a big thank you to all the early adopters of these. Anyone who has read the entire thread will have learned a lot from the reviews, writeups, modifications, and things to look for during install.
I'll also try to add some useful info: Anyone looking at upgrading the bolts (since it looks like a few have either bent of failed completely) should look forM16 bolts and nuts Edit: I cannot measure things properly. Those should be M14 bolts and nuts, M16 is too big! The existing bolts are 130mm length, but 120mm will also work. Class 10.9 should be equivalent to Grade 8. McMaster-Carr part numbers are 95327A795 for the bolt and 94645A250 for nylock nuts Edit: 91290A774 for socket head bolts and 99908A105 for locknuts, so about $20 for both sides delivered.
Finally, there was a request a while back for before/after alignment numbers for just changing UCAs. I swapped UCAs and replaced my 2.5 front spacers with 5100s @ 1.75 and Moog 81108 coils, but my height only increased ~0.25" so I have a decent set of numbers for comparison (compare the after values from the first data set with the before values of the 2nd set).
2.5" Daystar on stock UCAs 8/19/14
Left Camber: .5 before, .2 after
Right Camber: .4 before, .2 after
Left Caster: 1.3 before, 2.0 after
Right Caster: 1.6 before, 2.3 after
Left Toe: .27 before, .05 after
Right Toe: -.2 before, .05 after
SAI (both): 11.5 before, 11.7 after
Left Included Angle: 12.0 before, 11.9 after
Right Included Angle: 11.9 before, 11.9 after
5100s @ 1.75, Moog 81108s, Suicide UCAs 7/6/15
Left Camber: -1.5 before, -.7 after
Right Camber: -.8 before, -.6 after
Left Caster: 4.8 before, 4.0 after
Right Caster: 5.0 before, 4.4 after
Left Toe: -.9 before, -.01 after
Right Toe: -1.52 before, .01 after
Left SAI: 12.6 before, 11.9 after
Right SAI: 12.9 before, 12.9 after
Left Included Angle: 11.2 before, 11.3 after
Right Included Angle: 12.1 before, 12.3 after
It looks like these add ~3 degrees of caster (while totally throwing out your toe and camber, so predictably an alignment is required).

I've been emailing the various Ebay vendors nearly weekly asking when UCA's will be in stock and price reduced and have not yet received an answer or even an acknowledgement. I have a feeling this was a one time offer and that once they sold their inventory the UCA's won't be coming back.

IDK, if people were hesitant at $250 for the silver ones then I'd definitely be suspicious of these at $235

Manufacturer's Warranty!
I'm completely happy with my Silver Ebay UCA's so far. Been off-roading several times and have about 6k miles with no issues. I did follow all the tips listed in this tread regarding the install.
It looks like the Silver UCA's are available for other 4runner Gens and several other manufacturers vehicles. They should come back in stock.

the $235 ones look like camburg ball joint style
Does Camburg make a set that accepts regular press in ball joint? I thought Light Racing was the only company that made an aftermarket UCA with an actual ball joint (vs. uniball)

as posted above, yes they do, wheelers offroad sells them with moog balljoints preinstalled

Has anyone read, or contacted the seller to be sure they are to be used to put a lifted truck into OE alignment spec? Hate for anyone to purchase this set and they be the same spec as stock UCAs (not helping alignment at all).
