eBay uniball control arms?

The only thing unique/different with those is they use Tacoma ball joints and if every replacing the ball joint must be the Tacoma ball joint.
They've been around for awhile on eBay, before the the uniball ones we are using.

I have about 10k miles on mine so far. No issues other that a zerks fitting messing up and needing to keep them lubed.
I found your write-up soon after I saw them on ebay. I appreciate your pictures and details! Mine came in just in time for a rainy weekend! Why dont I do it in the garage, you ask? Because thats where the princess Porsche sleeps!
I'm not one for taking many pictures but I'll give it a go.

Could you measure the sleeve length, inside diameter and outside diameter. these might be safer to run out the box for some people.

So the dirt on the Dirt King bushing rebuild kit. If you have the eBay uniball UCAs, I highly recommend buying this $56 kit:

Not bad looking, but I started to notice shifting sounds coming from them that was starting to get very annoying.
The bad, look at all the slop and gap of the eBay sleeves around the long bolt:
The good, tight fit of the new DK sleeves as OEM as possible:
The numbers: eBay sleeves are OD 25mm x ID 16.5mm (TO WIDE) x length 53mm (TO SHORT), the DK sleeves are OD 25.4mm X ID 14mm x length 56.007mm.
After reinstalling the arms with the new sleeves I know why the eBay ones make noises. Installing the long bolt through them was like throwing a hotdog down a hallway, but reinstalling them with new sleeves and bushings were tight and snug like a bug in a rug.

Could you comment on the difficulty and process of removing the original bushings and sleeves from the EBay arms?
Assuming that I'd first press out the metal sleeve, maybe on a vice, then the poly bushings would be *easy* to pull out, but sometimes these seemingly simple tasks turn out to be a real pain.

Super easy, I used a socket and a long bolt, ran it through and started tightening it down till the sleeve came out enough for me to grab hold of with channel locks and twisted them out. For bushings, I used a big flat head screw driver and just pried them out. I will post some pictures later for you.
Found them for slightly cheaper through DirtKings ebay store, $64.50 shipped, and they have a 'best offer' option, I'll see what they will settle for

Awesome job finding the the kit. Like i said in the pm I didn't want to convince people how unsafe 2mm of play was. Now they can actually see the difference and have a kit for it. They kept saying they were fine out the box. Thanks for doing the work. Hopefully the tubular balljoints ones don't have the same problem:rockon:

Probably not since all your suspension geometry should be the same, but I am anal about that sort of thing so I would.
