Shocks: 4 Eibach Pro Truck, fronts are installed on the bottom ring.
Front Coils: Dobinsons C59-302 (advertised at 2.5" lift)
Rear Coils: Dobnsons C59-325 (advertised at ~2.0" lift)

Stock Hub measurements (I have 3rd row seats):
PF & DF: 19.5
PR & DR: 21.5

How's this set up treating you after a couple of months? Still happy with the Eibach Shocks?

I'm a new 4runner owner and I'm really interested in this lift. I plan to add a slimline/lo pro style bumper and winch so I'll have some extra weight up front. I've seen posts in this thread and in others about people running a similar setup, but they report fairly different results. Some use the lowest clip, some use the 2nd clip, some report minimal sag, some report up to an inch. Obviously, they're not all running the same equipment, but I'm also worried about being surprised by a degree of lift or rake that I don't want. I'm particularly worried about having too much sag on the lowest clip, but not enough for the second clip. I'm looking at getting the adjustable coilovers and load leveling system so I don't get stuck with a degree of rake I don't like and can also accommodate any future mods. If anyone can answer any (or all) of these questions, that would be amazing.

1. Is there a difference in the ride characteristics when switching clips or using the adjustable coilovers vs. the pro truck kit?

2. Can the coilovers be adjusted up to 2.5 inches even with a loaded front end like I'll be running?

3. Can anyone else report the amount of lift they ended up with with a bumper and winch using just the pro truck lift?

Thanks!

IIRC, the springs provide the lift.
My shocks are at the lowest / 1st clip setting.
My complete Pro Truck lift has been on for about 15,000 miles.
I have a 80lb Warn hybrid bumper with 100lb 10K Warn winch & steel cable.
Plus Sliders.

Looks good to me:

^ Your front end looks like it has sagged a bit in that picture due to the bumper and winch. (compared to the pictures of the white one posted before yours)

Unlike the white 4Runner, there are 200lbs of winch and bumper hanging off the front of mine, plus the sliders and skid plate.

Here's what it looked like with winch and bumper before the lift went on:

Thanks for the replies. Those pictures are great and really show the effect of the lift with the added weight.

Finished install today. Added the Toytec 1/4" top spacer up front as I wanted to hit the 3" mark. In the rear I went with Wheeler's T12 springs which have given me about 2 3/8" the day of install. I do not have a third row seat. Better pics will follow.

They’re still available at Wheelers off road. I just checked.

They're available on the website to buy, but wont be in stock until October 6. I know this because they emailed me to tell me.

"Huge apologies on the delay here. Unfortunately we are running behind.
Just pulled up your order though and we are currently out of stock on the Eibach kit.
They are not due back in stock until 10/7 per Eibach.
Huge apologies for the delay and inconvenience.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to ask. "

Has this kit been around long enough to see if the rear springs start to sag? My buddy with a GX470 said some guys in his group have the kit and mentioned the rears got soft and some reverse rake started to present itself.

I’m still considering it but if they are going to sag I might pass. Then again, I rarely am fully loaded up, only extra weight I have are a combined 77lb Toyota Rock Rails. And the occasional 5 year old and 1 year old daughter in the rear seats. Other than that there is not a constant load back there.

If you are going to pull a heavy boat or trailer long distance or put a heavy rear bumper with tire carrier on your vehicle, your going to want either heavier rear coil springs or airbags.

I towed a fishing boat home 1100 miles from Minnesota to Missouri. Midway through my rear was squatting. Hindsight being 20/20 a set of Firestone airbags in the springs would've helped that.

For towing the boat around town, short trips to the lake, the airbags / heavier rear springs are not needed.

Here's a great video on the ins and outs of suspension lifts.

I managed to source a kit from Tirerack a couple weeks back. 88rotors here in CA may have a set or two in their inventory, but not sure. a lot of the less known, local offroad shops may carry them. just have to call every single one :high5:

Does anyone know the spring rate for the front coils E30-82-071-01-20?

Tried searching and i could only find the rear spring rate.

Also, has anyone used the Toytec/Eibach 112-620 springs with the rear Eibach Springs? Curious as to how much rake as opposed to the 2.75" Eibach.

Spring rate for Front Eibach Pro Truck Lift Coils / Springs = 662lbs

^^^ Thank You!

I did all four 5100's last week (front's at zero) with Eibach 1" rear springs and Toytec/Eibach 1.6" front springs. It gave me a much better ride, zero tire rub now, plus it kept a little rake. I tow frequently and didn't want the nose-high ride. You can mix and match with no issues.

Do you have any pictures of this setup? I’m planning the same. Thanks!

Anybody have a recommendation of the best vendor to purchase the Eibach kit from? Looking to get them pre assembled so I can just drop them in.

I'd like this as well... where was a vendor that posted on here somewhere toward the beginning of this thread that also threw in the leveling spacers for the Drivers side as well with the kit. I emailed them a few weeks ago because he was supposed to have a discount code but I never heard back from them... and I forgot about the kit until now. I'll try to go through the thread and see if I can find him again and message them.

I had ordered from Wheeler's Off Road and got priced $760 shipped to CA with top hats pre-installed BUT, they will not have stock until 10/6

I then got hold of Neo-Garage, and was priced $780 shipped to CA with top hats pre-installed, and they're getting delivery on 9/21 (from the person I was talking to). I asked why they were getting it earlier as opposed to other vendors and he told me that they had ordered this in late July and early August
