Eibach Pro-truck lift

Im settled on this kit as it seems like everyone is happy with it. I do have one concern about the back. With only 1 of lift in the rear isn't it going to sag when I'm loaded down? I have a rear single Robinson drawer and usually always have my bike rack on. I figured just over 100lbs and whatever I add when I hit the trails. Anyone have any suggestions?

If this is a concern, we also offer our Load-Leveling-System, which gives you a threaded perch to set your height and spring rate exactly how you want it.

In addition to this kit we're in development of an HD version of our OE shaped (the 1" spring) that you're referencing. So we will have three different levels (ha!) of rear lift solutions:

Pro-Lift-Kit - 1" lift spring
Pro-Lift-Kit HD - 2" lift spring w/ increased rate
Load-Leveling-System - 2.5" adjustable perch and spring with 3 rate options

Mark,

Thanks for the response. So am I able to purchase the Pro lift kit and then just add on the load-leveling-system with the rear springs that come with the kit? All the kits I see appear to come with rear coils.

The load leveling system uses our coilover springs, so you'll need to purchase ala carte, unless you want to have the standard 1" PLK springs in addition.

Here's what you need:

Front:
Springs (pair) E30-82-071-01-20
Shocks (each) E60-82-071-02-10 (qty.2)

Rear:
Shocks (each) E60-82-071-02-01 (qty. 2)
Load Leveling (pair) AK31-82-071-02-02

Lots of reading and research to be had in this thread. Those of you who have installed this kit with 285s, anyone have to do a BMC?

I know that everyone's truck is going to be different, but I just want to get a general consensus.

I have the kit on order and am wanting to install Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws in P285/70/r17.

I'm okay with trimming the front bumper and moving the fender liner up, but I don't even know where to start with a BMC - where to get one, cost, etc.

I think the general consensus is that with this kit (2.5" - 2.75" lift), you don't have to do BMC fitting 285/70/17 size tire UNLESS you have very aggressive offset wheels. I think it is more about the offset of the wheels than the lift itself. I have 0 offset wheels, and did not have to do BMC with 285/70/17 nitto ridge grappler.
I know those who have -38 offset wheels that they absolutely had to do BMC.

OE springs?? Will this allow me to put the load leveler system on the TRD-PRo with the FOX shocks and your lifted springs option?

I have the Eibach lift, 285/70 tires, -12mm 17x 8.5 wheels, extra camber UCAs, and needed a BMC.

I'm sorry there's some confusion here.

the load leveling system only works with our race springs which are readily available from retailers.

your factory rear springs, TRD PRO lift springs and PRO-LIFT-KIT rear springs will not work in conjunction with the load-leveling perch.

Okay, thanks. That's cool. I'm going be running TRD SEMA wheels because I'm super original and want a very unique look.

I ordered my kit. Do you have any recommendations on UCA's?

Personally, I've used SPC and DirtKing. There are some great options out there, but it really comes down to what you want to do in the way of maintenance.

I loved how much caster I could get with my SPC's, but they slipped more than once. The Dirt Kings have been hassle free in that regard, but because of their poly bushings, they require a little maintenance.

If only SOMEONE had an arm which improved clearance, improved castor, used a trusted / maintenance free ball joint and heavy duty, maintenance free bushings, made in the USA and for a fair price...

I ended up just adding a spacer in the rear to accommodate any extra weight.

What size spacer did you go with? I am set to get this installed on Monday. But will add a spacer down the line. I was thinking .5" or .75"?

How has the ride been for you after adding the spacer? And lastly, any pictures of your rig?

I've had the truck for 2 years...I personally have not taken one picture of it.
I can take one tomorrow with the camper hooked up. I went back and forth between .5 and .75" spacer...ended up going with the .5"...just because i'm not always loaded up in the rear. Once every few weeks for a short drive I have a few hundred pounds+ of t-shirts.

Just got my kit. Is it normal for the finish to be chipping off the coil already? These have never been installed fresh out of the box.

Do you have tophats installed on them. Taking a wild guess, whoever installed the tophat damaged the finish on the spring.
