Yep, hopefully this will happen one day. In the mean time, I feel sometime guilty when running my hungry beast around. My 4R is by far the least fuel efficient I ever own.

What's up guys. I finally pulled over for some rest and to be honest it's so busy here and I'm so close I almost have second thoughts about it. I really should get a little rest even though it's tough. I'm at a pilot truck stup just on the Georgia border off 20. I'm 4hrs from home according to the GPS which has me ever so anxious. I can't wait to get into my bed my chair see Kristi the dogs get some rest the whole deal. I don't have much of a report for today for the simple fact that all I did was drive my ass off from Amarillo to here.
So rather than talking about today's activities I will outline what I plan to do in the coming days in regards to the trip since I will ha e some time before going to Bike Week.
1 Make a list of everything I brought
2 Review the various items I brought with video and text
3 Make a wish list of things I would have and done to the truck if money wasn't an option
4 summarize as best I can my trip and some of the take aways
5 start and hopefully complete a slideshow video with the music that I jotted down along the way as the sound track
And take ideas for other projects in regards to the trip.
I should be home tomorrow rather early since I feel I won't get very much sleep here. Lucky tomorrow is Saturday so Atl traffic won't be too terrible, although I really don't think it can compare to LA traffic. Here are a few pics from today, again sorry it's not much but there really isn't much.

Memphis, I wish that I could have stopped at the famous BBQ place. I was in a hurry and not hungry
By the way. This whole trip I ha e fought with ATTs poor service. I really hate the VZW pissed me off because their service is far better.
After that it got dark

Thank you again for sharing this adventure with us.. Unfortunately, I now sit in a corner rocking myself, crying, as this whole thing is coming to an end. I just had hoped somehow in the back of my mind that this thread would never end. I still don't want to believe it...
Really though, you have provided many with inspiration, visuals that they may never get to experience, and a truly fun experience for all of us. Thank you!

DAY 33
IM HOME!!!!! today I woke up at about 5am and hauled ass back to my home. It's crazy I drove about 12k miles this trip and the last damn 10 almost killed me, I thought it was never gonna come. I got here and around 8am and I have slept the majority of the day. Side note my allergies didn't bother me at all until I got into SC!!
I want to say thank you to each and every person that followed along with the journey and had encouraging words of wisdom, advise and just keeping me company really. You know I went on this journey for the sole purpose of it being something that I wanted to do, almost selfishly determined that no matter what I was going to take it. I put money aside for I have been selfishly chasing the all mighty dollar for a long time causing many different negative things in my life. When I planned this trip I had originally planned to have about $10k for it and I'm happy to say I did it with barely a fraction of that. The trip was much like my life has been. I was blessed with everything I needed and not really much more. I'm thankful for the people that I encountered, and I would not exchange any of the experiences that I had the positive or the negatives. I'm sure that I have forever changed my outlook on life and some quality's that have changed/developed may take time before I ever see them.
With everyone one following along I was never truly alone for I had each and everyone of you guys with me. There for advise, encouragement to keep going, and just to be good company. I have even inspired some to finally take their own journey which is awesome I'm glad I could do that. I think the most touching though are the folks from all over that have reached out to thank me for sharing my Journey since they would be unable to ever do anything like it for medical reasons. It is very hard to put into words how happy I am that I have been able to provide them with the sights and sounds of our beautiful world that we, the healthy, so often take for total granted.
Thanks again everyone, and sorry that seemed to go on!! I will be posting reviews, list, must DOS and must donts in the next few days as well as more videos so stay tuned

Truly want to thank you for sharing trip - have been following along since day one and enjoyed it all.
Don't think you ever got your question answered about the 'certified weed free areas' - must have certified weed free hay/feed for horses etc. that are brought into area, to prevent noxious weeds from spreading - I think.
And no, your southern accent isn't bad at all. One of my closest friends is from Ridgeway SC - when living in MT it was only noticeable with a few words - after he moved back to SC for a while, accent is very noticeable and I continually give him shit about it.

I had a 60 year old man tell me he would kill to be my age again, 25. This is while he was telling me about his childhood living in the outdoors and traveling the US. I told him I would of killed to live like he did at my age.
Work often consumes peoples life and it flies by too quick and one regrets not putting on the brakes and just getting out and enjoying the outdoors, glad you were able to do this trip and make it back home safe.
