Need help with error code C1201

(TL;DR: I've supplied info about the Pxxx error codes but need help with the C1201 error code.)

I got the full array of warning lights a while back and some quick searches pointed to my gas cap. It did seem a bit loose, so I replaced it, and the problem went away for a while (over 7 months).

About a week ago the warning lights came back. My gas cap didn't feel loose, and was less than a year old, so I decided that wasn't the problem right off the bat. I pulled the error codes and got these:

C1201
P043E
P043F
P0441
P0455
P0456
P2401
P2402
P2419

Um, yikes. So after some googling it appears this collection of codes isn't that uncommon.

P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402, and P2419:
I need to replace the vapor canister. There is a TSB for this, but I'm over 140k miles and way outside of no-cost coverage. Replacing the cannister and associated filter at the same time brings the total DIY cost to ~$360.

Part numbers for what's needed:
Vapor canister part# 77740-35511
Vapor canister filter part# 77706-35020

P041, P0455, and P0456:
These are for vapor leak, which generally points to the gas cap. When this problem first came up, I replaced the gas cap and the warning lights went away. But I never cleared the error codes. I'm guessing that the warning lights went away when I fixed the problem but the error codes were still present from several months ago.

C1201:
The one that has me really confused is the C1201 code. I'm seeing a few things from various places, generally consisting of two things: 1) Engine Control Module, and 2) The ABS system. When I pulled the error codes, the code was identified as "ECM ABS" so, um, both of those things.

I've only hit the brakes hard enough to engage the ABS a couple of times since owning my T4R (a little over 1.5 yrs). Each time, the same thing happens. The ABS engages for a second or two, then the brakes go soft. It's rather worrisome, but so far it hasn't been a serious problem.

Based on that, I'm guessing it isn't an engine control issue, but an ABS issue. Does anyone have any experience with this?

The C1201 pops up sometimes with various DTCs, it basically is a DTC that says the vehicle has an issue (similar to how some vehicles have a P0700 to indicate you need to communicate with the Transmission Module for further DTCS) and usually turns on with other DTCs.

C1201- Engine Control System Malfunction:

If a malfunction in the engine control system is detected, the operations of VSC and TRC are prohibited by the fail-safe function. When the signals from the engine are input normally, the fail-safe is canceled and the DTC is not stored​

I wouldn't worry about it, once you've fixed the other DTCs and clear the vehicle that C1201 should go away.

P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402, and P2419:

I have the same error codes as you BUT there's a curve ball: I have P0453 - Evap System Pressure Sensor Switch High Input

Doesn't make any sense to me. How can it be leaking but also have high pressure?? Any ideas?

Sorry to bump an old post, but I am having similar problems and wondering if you guys have fixed those issues?

I have the same codes as the OP (P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402 and P2419) and wondering if it is indeed the charcoal that can cause that.
