UPS BROKE my friggin sliders! They BROKE welds on .5" sidewall DOM tubing...

question 1.) how does one break 1/2" sidewall DOM tubing (of unknown diameter) do you mean bent the tubing perhaps.. and if thats the case again.. how?

question 2.) why are your sliders made of 1/2" sidewall DOM tubing?


or did you mis type .5 for a different number?

Yup, Demello sent mine the same way, the shipping company said they remved it because it took up too much room on the truck. I let Demello know and they said they had just decided to stop using the shipper because of similar complaints. I was pissed at the shipping co. but the bumper was fine besides scarpes in the primer.I have had bad shipping experiences in the past which is why I ordered mine unfinished

Why would you run 0.500 wall tubing for sliders? Your truck, like UPS probably hates how heavy they are.

Does the Demello bumper use any auxiliary mounting points? Or just the 8 bolts at the front of the frame?

I'm still thinking this is a typo... Unless it's like 3.5" OD tubing... Which it isn't. Have fun bending THAT, lol.

lol I think your still off, 1.5" outer diameter .25" sidewall.. If the ID was .25 the wall thickness would be 5/8"..

I understand over kill, and do it a lot myself. Usually sliders are half that thickness.

I usually put .25 on those pipes you see at stores to stop cars from crashing into the them.

I'm not sure the lights will be as effective as a minigun against zombies.. But it sounds like you're expecting I am Legend zombies instead of standard 'walkers'?

I'd prefer walkers. I am legend zombies were scary and really fast moving. I'd like to live in a prison lol
