made for tailgating at the game. comes with a HD satellite receiver

patent pending ladies and gents ;)
Now that's crazy!

Clemson, did you get a remote start? I know you have been wanting one for a while but I haven't seen any posts about it. Just so you know I got the 5901 for $200.50 shipped, if anyone is interested it is sold by pacific stereo which is an amazon store.

Damn, that's not a bad price at all.

"Wanting" is the right word. Lol. I thought about it a lot and figured I couldn't justify the cost considering it's hardly ever cold here, college is coming up, and I have to pay for senior week. :awais:

That's a really good price though. If I some how come across $300 I'm gonna pick it up. :)

You should plant a money tree:p It never gets cold here in Socal either but I used the extra security (tilt sensor, motion sensor, glass break sensor) as the justification.

Tint is in the works, I need to find an upholstery shop to make me some, any ideas on how much a few covers would cost?

^^^^You can't drive with the trunk up though;)

I'm sure you know how strict the tint laws are in CA, but I just thought I would let you know that it will take 5% at the mininum to make it difficult to see into your 4runner. That will be well below CA's law.

I like the hitch TV more than the trunk TV. It is auctually functional.

Silver-You didn't drive with it back there did you? I would have transported it in cargo area.

i would first off like to clarify that its not my actual unit. its from a buddy of mine thats working on marketing this. so if your ever at a san jose sharks game, or possibly at a san fransisco 49ers game, you may see it.

as for driving with it on, i have a clear weatherproof cover for it, so i can use it in the rain ;) and yea, for the most part, its on the back there. locked down pretty secure, and totally insured so doesn't matter if anything happens to it. but its super easy to take off and put inside the car

talk about making traffic better for all, but for the most part, i make them all watch sports center and espn ;)

In California anything is legal behind the drivers/passenger windows, you could paint them black if you wanted, as long as you have two functioning side mirrors. I plan on going double 5% on all rear windows.

If you have a doctors note from a licensed optometrist it is legal to tint the drivers and passenger windows, I am currently working on the doctors note, when I get one I will either do one layer of 5% or 20% I haven't decided.

I've got a back up camera with infrared so it shouldn't be too bad or I could roll down the windows if I really had too. Plus I don't do much night driving anyway.
