Yes I have considered removing them but getting my father to approve on that has been a battle. So it seems they are staying on for now
Haha I think we are at about 20, been born and raised around boating and fishing. Live on the water and have had two boats. Couldn't imagine life without it. :thumb: Tight Lines!!

16 year old here and ive only waxed my 4runner once in the year ive owned it and if the temp gets above 60°f I would like to wax my runner(ill post pics if i do 
) does any one have a specific type of wax they really like? I would be doing the whole runner by hand but I'm not afraid for it to take a few hours so any suggestions?

I try to wax mine as much as possible, but that usually ends up being like 3 times a year. I use Meguiars carnauba wax. I use Griot's quick wax after every wash to keep the water beading. It works pretty well and doesn't take any more time than just drying it off.

I am heading down to Marathon for the first week of the year for some fishing.
Tight lines Matt, and keep working your dad to take off the running boards (you can always put them back on).
