Fishing pole rack...using defiant light bar...

Ok...so my mods are not as crazy/intense as Antman's...or Harper's...or some of the new runner owners who are creating some sick rides. BUT...for the fishermen out there...this may prove helpful if you are looking at getting a light bar. I have a defiant light bar with two Hella fogs on it...but also had Paul add two additional tabs in case I wanted 4 lights. I went out on the beach in the outer banks and had an "aha" moment as I was annoyingly gathering my gear from the back. $30 later (two plastic rod holder pieces, plastidip (love that stuff), and 2" c-clamps) utilizing the inner tabs - success. Sturdy as can be and easy to take off as needed. I have two round rubber grip pieces on the bottom of the light bar tab where the clamp attaches. I was experimenting with one on...one off concerning the top part (you can see the one on the left) just to check if it is necessary or not - since the plastidip grips well.

Thanks...I will keep y'all posted as I take more trips to the beach for fishing (red drum and rockfish time!) - hopefully holds up! And hopefully I catch some damn fish...

Nicely done! Plastidip is addictive, ain't it?

If you need some company fishing for those rockfish, let me know! :)

I fish the Bay, mostly North of the Bay Bridge. Severn, Patapsco, Bush, Susquehanna, Dundee, Middle rivers, etc.

Never been surf fishing, but I would love to give it a try! Nothing better than a nice, fresh Rockfish filet!

Gotcha....I was out in the choptank river the other week on nice old deadrise boat. I love surf fishing and heard it is decent near sandy point park...I believe that is where you all scheduled a 4runner meet up, wasnt it?

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...but I will be sure to catch up with everyone if y'all decide to do another meet in the spring.
