Hey, heard from my GF(Brittony) that you ordered some shirts today, and went searching on here.
I was really wanting to hit FJ summit this summer, but couldnt quite get it planned out. Would have likely taken my Tacoma anyways, maybe next summer I can go and take the 98 that I'm just starting to build up.
Shirt design looks goood.
yeah.. but you were also one of the last two remaining and I know you.. so it's all good!
Everyone's paid up and I'm looking forward to handing out the shirts in 3 weeks!

Its all bad man. It seems they keep getting "thunderstorms" which really only consist of wind to move fires and lighting to create new ones. I think we are calling off our trip to Durango this weekend and next week. The Weber fire is only 22 miles from where we are camping and I do not know that amount of space is enough to make me comfortable having my family exposed to it.

Looks like the fires are south and east of Ouray (the town) right now: Colorado Division of Emergency Management: Map of Current Colorado Fires

Does anyone have a good idea where the fires are? I know of the fire west of Ft Collins and the fire near Colorado Springs, but didn't know about the fire near Durango.

The fire in SW CO is far enough away from where a majority of the trails are. I'm headed out on a motorcycle trip for the next week to the same area as the fires and will pass through Ouray. I will let you know but as far as I have been able to see nothing in the trail area is effected....right now.
A good resource aside from what Limamike put up is http://www.inciweb.org/state/6/ it has updated info and maps.

If you're taking I-70 it wont go near CO Springs, it cuts through Denver. If you come up I-25 there might be back ups but then again you have a few weeks, everything as far as Interstates is still moving. A good road conditions site is cotrip.org.

Been riding SW CO the last few days including back and forth trips on the million dollar highway out of Ouray. No fire danger right now. If you go to Durango you have the chance of heavy smoke but today was clear. Rode past the fire the other day and it was quite the site, few hundred yards from the road.
Ouray is over run with FJs right now, time to get down there and represent!
