Oh, no problem as long as its Toyota. Actually last year someone's buddy brought a Raptor to it. There are always a few Tacos, several 4Runners, and more and more FJ40's and Landcruisers as the years go by. By far the bulk is of course Cruisers.
I should be going again this year. Once it gets closer to the event a Texas convoy will pop up on the Forum. Last year I went with a group of DFW/Texas guys lead by Toyota of Dallas (TRDParts4U). They are all regular active wheeling guys/gals in the Dallas area and sponsor the Summit every year (and give away the SuperCharger each year!).
May be doing that again if the days sink up again. The year before my girlfriend and I went on our own early to hit Moab for a few days.
Whatever your schedule, there are folks doing Moab before and after if you are looking for some extra fun while your that close to Utah.
Have you hit up a Toyota Trail Riders Happy Hour event yet? Every month on a Thursday at Papa's BBQ (near IH35/Loop12). All the TRDPart4U guys are members of TTR. You don't have to be a member (I'm not) to hit up the HH. I go most of the times...lots of great people to meet. It should come up on the Texas Forum...or check the TTR Forum's website.
Oh, and Jamboree in Gilmer is in April this year. This will be my 3rd year for that as well (TTR Sponsored Toyota only Event).

I'm currently trying to work-out the logistics of this. Looks like three of us from the DC area are looking at going (Joneseyyy, 4ShoreRunner, and myself). My problem is this: I'm obligated to my girlfriend's family reunion in St. Augustine, FL on the 28th of July through 4 August. I pulled her out to Montana last summer, so I'm not sure if she's up for another across-the-US trip this summer. But, I just looked at the map, and it looks like it would be an awesome drive out to CO then down to FL... I just need to come-up with a convincing argument to get her out to Colorado. :art:

That's what I was thinking as well. Leaving O/A the morning of the 15th to arrive on the 17th. I spoke to the GF today, and the immediate answer was "No!", but we settled on "Let me think about it..." for now. :reddance:

So, I plan on going. I just tried to reserve a "Kabin" or a campsite at the KOA in Ouray, and it looks like they're sold-out!
EDIT: Looks like they're available from 18-22 JULY, but not 17-22 JULY. I may have to do some vehicle sleeping that night!

I bought the EdgeStar last year, and I love it. I think I paid ~$450 with shipping. It gets to freezing in about 10 minutes, and I've had no problems running it for a couple of days off of truck power (on a single battery). I'm not sure what all the benefits of the ARB fridge is, but I know it's popular and much more expensive. I'd definitely consider the EdgeStar as an alternative if you're in the market.
