Thanks! After a brief search I actually found them on my own after asking the original question.
As far as the flashlight, I noticed that 3 of the Velcro style 3M Command Strips would fit across the back of charger and mounted my light as more of a test to see if it would work out in that location. Nice part is, if I end up leaving it there, the command strips separate if the light is ever in the way or I need to take the charger somewhere else to charge the light.

For a lot of guys, me included, the size and heft of a 3D Mag is THE reason to own it.
I have a Mag in the 4R but carry a (similar size and heft) Streamlight SL20 at work. That SL20 has proven to be quite a useful tool in repelling dirtbags. About 7 years ago someone tried to grab my gun in a fight, and I used that SL20 to defend myself. I fractured the guy's skull with it. I've broken windows, jabbed at strange things that I didn't want to touch, and used it as a crude hammer.
Try that with a micro light.

You must be on the Candle Power forum. I have had the same illness since I was a little kid. There was no such thing as a bad flashlight. Remember those 5D metal flashlights with the tiny round light bulbs. That was what I wanted for Christmas while all the other kids wanted a BB gun. As a contractor, I actually use these flash lights to see under homes without having to crawl under them now. I have someone in Seattle make my lights exactly the way I want them now.
Check out the Thrunite TN12. I have one in every car. TAlking about geeking out? :rockon:

, yep for a few years, same moniker, mostly a lurker though. Who ever thought you could or want to know so much about flashlights. I certainly have learned a lot, mostly about LED types and well batteries that I had no idea even existed

I love this flashlight, the super dim setting is great in the dark and the strobe setting is not in the standard cycle. I might have to mount one below the door handle like weeeee did. Though the tactical seat cover is pretty amazing...

I just read mostly also over there too. I ask Vinh (forgot his complete screen name) to set me up with what I need and its done. No need to read and get confuse by some of the technical and boring stuff. I tell him the beam pattern I want or need, he steers me towards the right direction. Couple times, he gave me the model and make to buy, other time, he makes what I like. Can't get any better then that
I hate freaking strobe setting on the same switch where you have cycle through it to get to the setting necessary. That's why I bought the Thrunite because its on a separate switch.

I have a bunch of different flashlights but my favorite is a small cheap Ultrafire. It has a CREE LED and comes with two 18650 batteries and a charger for around $11 on Amazon. I have three. One at my desk at home, one in my 4Runner and one in my work vehicle.
It is plenty bright (about 10x brighter than a 4 cell mag light) is lightweight and the rechargeable batteries last quite a long time.
Now when I'm camping or just want to light up a small town I break out the Securitying 12 Cree flashlight. It uses 4 26650 batteries and it far brighter than the high beams on most cars.
It could also be used in self defense if needed.

I totally agree look171 - strobe is great if you want to blind someone (or yourself) but normally it is just a pain.
Good golly that is a pile of serious batteries for a flashlight. I'm pretty sure you can jump start a car in an emergency with those!

LOL there are no excuses for poor torch UI... but so many lights have them.
Strobe sucks (unless of course you're facing an aggressor), I have a one sunwayman light with a selector ring and strobe is on the tail end of the side with the dimmest setting, f'n stupid.

I agree, have a handful of those too :biggrin1: If you have ever worked outside at night with your hands you know how invaluable they are.
The light I literally use everyday, I carry in my fifth pocket; AAA battery, bright 100+ lumens, and 3 brightness modes. I have one in copper (heavy) and one aluminum (super lightweight):

It is pretty ridiculous, I usually have no less than three lights on me at any given time, micro light on keychain, light on phone, and small aaa.:dizzy::suspicious:
