I was fortunate to purchase a set of Black Pearl emblems a couple years ago from the Dealer while they were still carrying them. Nothing beats factory BPs by the way.

if only i was as lucky as you lol. i did take my time with them, even if some people don't like what i have done with my 4runner because of the things like the taillights and brushguad I do try my best to keep it nice looking.

and Gunner if it does start to flake I will try it. I might do what you said and just shave the back besides the yota symbol though anyways.

my 1997 SR5 is black already...i have been wanting to do this mod for a long time now but im still worried that alll black would take away from the emblems? what do you all think?

annnnd would a yakima cargo basket fit on my stock racks without buying clamps or anything?

and on my rack it came with the clamps
that just go around my factory rack. i'm sure yakima would also have their product come with them.

I was just looking at the Yakima racks online and yeah they sell the clamps with it. Or at least they sell them on the site.

Emblems look good, Sloan. I'm gonna get around to doing that to mine soon enough. Just need to find some free time amidst classes/papers/tests
