like the title says there's fresh snow in big bear does anyone want to go on a day trip.

if you're interested please respond or pm me, I would go if we can at least confirm 3 or more trucks.

I'm rocking 265/70/16 BFG T/A's with a decent amount of tread life.

I was thinking of going up to arrowhead with the wife.. Stock donut tires, will have to get chains I'm guessing?

I don't know what is stock donut tire is, what exact type of tire?

Do they say AT/S ?

If You have street tires Then you should probably just stay out of the snow Or expect to use chains the entire time Which is of course a major pain.

so I guess it just depends on the terrain.

BC I have snow rated (non-studded) tires I am comfortable driving in most snow without chains, even when on a slope for hill.

But in your case because you have street tires you would probly want to put chains on once you drive on snow or at least once you get to a slope.

I say go for it but bring chains

BTW - Arrowhead looks pretty sunny? I don't think any snow will be there.
