From a Jeep to a 4Runner

Hello,

I sold my Jeep Wrangler (not a fan of Chrysler) and found a Gen2(1993) with a rebuilt engine (22RE), new clutch, tranny, 5.29 gears, - the new list is long. The inside is going take some work, dash lights out, etc but I am one happy camper.
I have owned four other Toyota 4x4's in the past, and I am happy to be back driving one again after a long stretch behind some very inferior vehicles.
Questions coming on shop manuals, insights on working on the dash to name a few.
See ya around,
Paul

Welcome to T4R! Chrysler hasn't been the best steward of Jeep since they bought them from AMC back in the late 80s. Kaiser and Willys did a much better job. Maybe one day they'll get a new owner... :juggle:

Pictures on the way. I will try and post some tomorrow along with the build sheet that came with her.
Trying to figure out if I should swap the front hubs out or leave it alone???
:thanks:

Here are some photos of my 93 4Runner.
She came with a rebuilt motor with 5k and a 3yr unlimited warranty (yes I have the paperwork)
New clutch, tran, transfer case
New ball joints (upper & lower)
New Brakes all around
New 33 AT BFGs
New 5.29 gears with master install kit
She still needs some work but a lot of the heavy lifting is done

Beauty 4runner! That was my first 4runner I had, loved every bit of it. Sounds like shes got a lot of life left in her! It'll serve you well I'm sure.
