Tampa, FL
2011 4Runnner SR5, 4x4, Mag Gray
82,000 miles
One owner (me) purchased new in July 2011 from Toyota Tampa Bay back when you couldn't find ANY 4runners on the lot. I actually had them divert one that was allotted to another dealer while it was enroute on the ship!
Well optioned SR5...has moonroof, heated leather seats, rearview camera AND back up sensors, towing package, sliding rear tray.
I did drive this daily, never done any "real" off-roading (no mud, no rocks, etc) BUT have put the transfer case to use (work in construction). Has earned a few battle scars (no wrecks, just has been treated like a 4x4 truck should be treated). ALWAYS serviced at Toyota dealerships...always full synthetic oil. Opted (at my cost) to have first oil change at 5k mi to be safe for break in miles (Toyota only recommends and therefore pays for at 10k mi).
3/2015 - AGM Battery ($185 battery)
8/2016 - new coil and plugs
10/2015 - rear brakes (dealer) earlier 2015 - front brakes (new rotors and pads) by me...can't find receipts but spent few hundred on decent parts.
K&N FIPK intake kit.
Shift knob is from a Lexus IS, also have the ugly original knob.
Husky floor liners front and rear.
Custom fabricated steel cargo rack for back...can be easily put in or out (no bolts or anything). Designed it so you can put stuff on top through hatch or rear window, and can still pull out the sliding tray to put stuff under it. it's welded and painted with bedliner paint.
Yakima roof rack with fairing.
Front and rear off-road lights installed with dash switches and relay kits (the right way).
8/2013 - Dick Cepek FCII all terrain tires - 265/70R17
Daystar leveling kit - 2.5" front, 1" rear (installed at 4wheel Parts).
I planned to drive this until my five year old was ready to take it, but I have a work truck now and it seems like a waste to let the 4runner sit around. Going to start it at $26,000....list a few places (including local) and see what happens. I'm not in a hurry....it's paid for and I still like the way it looks in my driveway.
Thanks,
Evan
