We bought this 4Runner with 250,000 on it for Wifey.
I went thru a lot of upgrades getting it ‘right’, in the end, she put just 16,000 miles on it and we had a baby, she complained it was ‘too tall’ to get the baby in the carseat so we got her something lower. I like it and would keep it, but it’s not meant to be. I’m lucky to be able to keep my ’94 I guess.
The tires and wheels came off my ’94 pickup and I want them back, so bring your own tires and wheels and save $2k. We can swap them here, NP.
Truck is in excellent mechanical condition with no problems.
Interior is OK, front seats need to be recovered, the rest is fine.
Exterior is in good shape. Zero rust. Couple dings here and there. One fender has obviously been repainted and not done as good as factory either – it’s pealing. We were going to paint it Ruby Red… I tried to compound it out yesterday, but it was so hot the compound was setting immediately. I got one panel good and it looked pretty nice. The rest of the truck is going to be up to you and elbow grease.
Engine is good, I did a compression check before I bought it, since have fixed a few gaskets and given a full tune up. It runs good.
4Runner has the following upgrades and maintenance items.
Suspension & shock lift
Body mount upgrades
Body lift
Tundra brakes and all new brake system
Radiator
Steel front wheel spacers
Front CV shafts and joints
Ball joints, tie rod joints, sway bar bushings, axle bushings
Rear driveshaft and CV joint
Trans fluid flushed by Toyota
