Same Question... You have had yours since April and it is the middle of August and GOBI still does not have it listed on their web site as available or even as "coming soon". A "ballpark" estimate of cost and availability would be nice.

This is the prototype and they will be tweaking it slightly and taking pictures for the website next week. You should give them a call next week, they are great to work with. Plus, if you live in Castle Rock, you can probably drive up there and pick one up to save on shipping.

I mounted a pair oh Hella 450's on top this evening and they are almost flush with the top bar on the rack. I do feel sorry for the person infront of me if I accidently turn them on at night.
I used the Hella wiring harness, bought some extra wire and placed the switch in one of the empty switch locations. The switch is independent from the driving, fog and headlights, so I can turn them on whenever. I just had the driving lights on since I thought it looked a little like a UFO.

How much room do you have coming into your garage now with the Hella's and how high is your garage opening? My garage opening is a little over 80 inches.

I will be getting this rack, way too nice. Question though, how did you route the wires for your lights?

Thanks! My garage is 83inches. From the ground to my fender is 38, from the ground to the top of the rack with the hellas is 78.25 (they stick about a quarter of an inch from the top bar, very small and can barely tell. Hope that helps as I know you have larger tires than I do.

You can actually see it in the first picture. I ran the wires down the driver side door weather stripping. I still need to tuck in the plastic protector so its tight on the roof, but bastically it covers all the wires so they are not exposed. It is ziptied to the rack until the couple inches that it needs to touch the roof to get into the door.

The power, relay and grounds are in the engine compartment. The switch is in the cabin. To get the wires from the engine compartment to the cabin, there is a rubber plug that i took out, cut a small hole in and ran the wires through.
If you open the hood, stand on the driver side fender and look down and to the right, you will see a bundle of wires that run inside through a black rubber piece. This piece can also be seen behind the parking brake inside the car.

Yeah, I am totally digging this rack, especially if it increases the carrying capacity over the stock unit. We are not light packers by any stretch with anything we do. As of 7 months ago we added a second kid and almost went for the Sequoia over the 4Runner, but I really thought for 98% of the time the 4Runner would be plenty. Here's a photo from our vacation last year, I think it explains a lot.
