Quick question. I'm at Les Schwab right now doing a test fit of my new tires and wheels on my 2016 limited. They ordered +12mm offset even though I mentioned negative offset and was wondering what to look for other than rubbing the uca
Going with 285/65-18 on black rhino warlord 9" wheels with +12 offset
Lift is ordered and should be here tomorrow.
Basically is there anything other than uca rub and fender liner rub(haven't pushed them forward yet)?
Lift is a toytec boss ultimate with boss 2.5 upgrade on Front

Ok it rubs really bad in the front and on the mud flap. Should have went out in the rain last night and did the mod. Good news is that it is about 1.5-2" from touching the uca.
Think I will be ok after the fender mod, or should I wait until I put the lift on also?

understand the list on the first page is not inclusive but there is an option for a 265/60-20 from a couple manufactures.
OD is 32.5 and would most likely be a Yellow category.

Ive read and read in this thread but I just can't wrap my head around how tire sizing works when it comes to 33's: the look I like is usually 285/70/17 (I have 275 ko 2's right now on my TEP and a 3' toytec boss lift.) The rims I want to get are the stealth series 6, but what I can't tell from looking on here at setups I like is when the owners say they have 285's, do they have "33's"? Are there 33 and non-33 versions of the 285 size tires? I like the wider stance look, which I think the stealth series wheels with their negative offset will give me, but this 33' thing just confuses the heck out of me.
Hopefully this makes sense..sorry if this is just too stupid of a question

Go to the very first post in this thread. Do not look at pictures, do not pass go or collect $200. Look at the chart for 285/70/17. Look 1 column over to the right from that listing. What does it say the tire diameter is in inches?

I have a '15 TE and I'm looking at Nitto Ridge Grapplers that are offered in a 295/55/20. This is right between yellow and red and I'm curious what you guys think of it. I plan on installing a 3' bilstein 5100 with Toyec coils all around. would it fit? How much trimming would be necessary or would it rub?
I know that there is no way to be 100% sure because of the differences between everyones vehicles but I'm sure im not the first to have this idea.

read the links in the first post and the wheel specs are there too. Or better yet, google "offset."

For anyone considering switching to 18 inch wheels on the limited I have just switched to the following:
Ion 18*9 inch wheels with +12 offset
Kumho Road Venture AT51 275/65/18
I was a little worried from reading some of the charts and posts that 9 inch wide wheels with +12 offset would give an incompatible backspacing. I have no rubbing at all, and still some clearance from the UCA (although not much).
Stock 2013 limited. No lift.

I went with same size but Kumho tires.
2016 Trail 4runner with TRD suspension.

I have been on the fence and trying to research if I can run the BFG KO2s year round. Or have a dedicated summer / winter set as I have on all my Chrysler 300s so far.
First time owning a 4x4 and In the past 3 years I have had a set of Saxon Snowblazer studded tires on my Chrysler. It was a RWD and the tires never let me down, never got stuck, even through I was 4 inches off the ground with some massive Northern Ontario snowfalls!

Hey guys I've got LT275/70R17 BFG KO2s and just went from the standard Trail wheels to the TRD wheels. I'm getting rubbing on the front mud flaps with a lift. Question: If I remove the mud flaps will I notice more rocks/mud/dirt/dust hitting the body of the car? How functional are these stock mud flaps? Thanks
