Going in for 1st service 5k B4 lift

I hope to do this at the end of the week or beginning of next week . Everything seems to be good so just the free oil , lube and filter and what ever else I should have them do. SUGGESTIONS ??

After that it will get the lift and alignment . Do you think I should drive without the alignment for a couple days til she she settles or have it done right away and bring it back later for a check when I get new rims and tires.

I sure hope I like the stance of the 3/2 OME . I want some black teflon rims so suggestions are welcome . I will have to see if I can get away with the 265's or If I need to jump to 285's , but rather stick to stock size and I think 275's will be to little of a jump to spend the extra money on . Unless I go to a 275/75/17's . I would be using an 8" aftermarket rim.

I hate to tell you but all you are getting at 5K is pretty much a tire rotation. Oil doesn't come until 10k.

As for black teflon rims, go to TireRack.com and look at their wheels.

I know ATX has several chioces in black teflon. I'm considering the Artillery wheels myself. I also like the Mojave, as its similar in style to the stock TE wheels.

They are going to do a oil , lube and filter . I asked them already and he said they prefer to o the first one at 5k with a new vehicle.

Have them do all the "severe" (or whatever toyota calls it) maintenance stuff. i.e. torque prop shaft, torque frame bolts, grease prop shaft, etc.

I think they skip out on the greasing of things, even though they say they do it, so I specifically ask and make a point of saying that they forgot last time and I can tell. Seems to help. :beer:

After driving through a long hard salty winter this is exactly what I will make them do . I've noticed from having the 4th gen and needing the severe maint. package every oil change they don't do it . They also don't charge for it either . They said it was not ness. Thats bs I would think they would take my word for it on what the truck has been through .
