Since the world will be ending in just a few days I wanted to officially say goodbye to you guys. Its been great. Its been fun. Its been great fun. I maxed out my credit cards and am now in a Atlantic City casino doubling down on every bet with a couple of hookers and gallons of booze. Truck is on the boardwalk with the engine running and lights on.

See you kids on the other side!

Weird second thought here......them Mayans knew what they were talking about.....right? Naaaa! Party Mode On......

I did extensive calculations on planetary movements they based their calendar on and discovered they were off by a little...
Drink up Philly is all I got to say!

It's been proven, the Mayans forgot about "Leap Year". Their "long" count calendar being about 5K years, puts the end date at really around April 20, 2016. So, party on folks!

I'm not so sure why the Mayans chose my birthday to end the world on.

Shame though that they didn't have a bigger rock to carve a calendar into, and then we would all be worrying about 08/27/2019 or some other date.

The Mayans (and anyone else predicting world demise on a particular date) totally forgot about time zones. Unless the world ends at 7:00 AM (MST), it will be a day earlier or later somewhere in the world, throwing the prediction date out of whack. Even this assumes that it might be 11:59 PM on one side of the international date line and 12:01 AM on the other, as the line actually falls in the Pacific Ocean. At any rate, this should debunk the Mayan's theory.

The sad thing is that when Phillyd2 comes to realize this on the 22nd, he will wish he had another gallon of booze to face the reality of the situation. I'm sure Atlantic City and the hookers will have taken all of his money by that point, and the booze will be drunk. And the T4R will have run out of gas. Maybe we need to start a collection to get Phillyd2 home? :D

P.S. What's the current odds on the world ending? This could be the big score I'm looking for! Oh, wait ........
