It definitely sets it apart from all the other SUVs. Get a lot of looks, a real eye catcher! Keep an eye out for a meet and let me know or I can meet you somewhere sometime. I still need to get the wheel spacers put on. The tire shop owner wasnt to keen on trimming my fenders after all the other trimming he did in the wheel well and mud flaps (although I didnt care, I told him to CUT IT UP!) so I opted to leave them off for now until I get a chance to do the trimming myself - liabilty issue I guess???

And yes, that is CREEPY! But now I need to catch up!

I have the same set up 2003 t4r sport .just installed cornfed 3/2 and getting 285 70r 17 bfg ko's in a couple weeks.do your stt's rub on the a-arms or do i just need to trim plastic in fender wells.Right now im running 265 70r17 ko's with no rubbing at all even b4 lift.alittle bit worried about 285s rubbing on the inside of the tire against that bar connected to the arm with the little nub sticking out,its very close to the inside of my 265's about 3/4 an inch.i really dont want wheel spacers.what do u think
 
What do you mean when you said the rear slams like there is no suspension ?

That would seem to be a concern

I had to trim quite a bit to get those big ass tires on but nothing you would notice unless you were looking for it. I had to trim MORE when I put the wheel spacers on surprisingly. Had to trim the actual fenders. Wasnt too happy about that but still not a big deal cause you wouldnt notice. Loved the look with the spacers but had slight vibration so look them off after a week. If I crank it all the way I get major rubbing on that UAC ball and arm you're talking about. Just have to be a little more aware when you're driving around with aftermarket stuff on your car. No big. I love it. No regrets and wouldnt change a thing...

Thats a slight exageration. Its def stiffer now though. Which I like. Had to much bounce in the back before. I like to feel the road when I drive anyway. So its all good. Wouldnt change a thing...
 
Thanks for reply,pics coming soon.So should i go with 285 70r 17 BFG KO's or stick with 265 70r 17 KO's on my T4R with 3/2 cornfed.Got to get new tires next week,maby 285 KO's wont rub as bad as a mud terrain,I'm mostly on road,but do alot of hunting,i would really like 285s but not sure how much trouble it will bring me,dont mind trimming just worried about the UCA's,is the rubbing enough to dammage UCA's,TIRES or anything for that matter.THANKS

Did you ever get those BFG's?
 
Yes, got 285/70r/17's about a week ago, I love'em. Just a little bit of trimming, took like 2 minutes, just cut straight across the inner fender taking that cup air deflector deal off.The tires only rub at full lock turn and its very minimum with an A/T,I almost got 265's again b/c all the talk of major trimming and wheel spacers to run 285's but from my experience none of that was at all necessary. I am so glad I went with the 285 BFG KO,S.

Looks Great! How is the road noise? MPG's as compared to 265's? At full lock, where does it rub? Looking at the same set up for my runner.
