Just watched BladeRunner 2049. I liked it. Some people didn't like the story arc but I thought it was a very well thought out sequel to the original.

Wife and I saw "Shape of Water" aka Lizard Love last night. Weird. Although a couple nice/gratuitous nude scenes.(Her, not "him").
Cannot recommend... neither of us liked it.

How this is more deserving of an Oscar than "3 Billboards ..." is beyond me. 3 Billboards is a good movie!

Came here just to make that comment. Cannot believe all the hype around that movie. I thought it was mediocre at best. 5/10. Felt incredibly predictable and if it weren't for the effects I would say downright boring. Knew exactly how the story was going to go and what was going to happen from about 20 minutes in.

Movie: A Quiet Place

I wouldn't call it horror, more like extremely well done and executed uber suspense. Great writing. If you don't have young kids then see it in theaters. This isn't a movie you want to see with stuff happening in the background. Very intense, almost no taking. Very good movie!

I assume you are referring to cable TV and mean un-bleeped. As far as DVD, BluRay goes the movie was never cut to remove offensive words. Mel Brooks is still alive at 91 (god bless!) his works are, to my knowledge at least, available on disc in their original release form.

I agree the cable channels ruin movies, cut out the offensive (to some) parts and in general are horrible. Cable sucks. Long live HBO Go, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon! As you can probably guess, we've completely cut the cord.

This is just my opinion .... I suggest all cable watchers CUT THE CORD, take that $60 (excluding internet) a month saved and buy an OLED 55" (or 65") LG for $1300 this Thanksgiving Black Friday.

I've been living at same place for almost 5 years now. 5 years of no cable. Wow. I estimate that we save at least $60 a month by having internet only. That is $3,600 saved. Enough to almost buy 3x 55" LG OLED TVs. Stop wasting money on cable folks.

I saw Isle of Dogs a few days ago. I’m a big fan of Wes Anderson so I went into this movie with high hopes and it did not disappoint. It’s very odd, very funny, and very heartwarming.

I saw it with a few friends and some loved it as much as I did and some couldn’t get over how odd it looked so I know it’s not a movie for everyone.

For the record, i have heard MBrooks say that he only cut ONE scene from the movie...i have heard him say this on a few occations.

Sheriff Bart and Lilli are in her dwessing woom. the lights go out, and she goes into her "oh ITS TWOOO...ITS TWOO ITS TWOOO!"

And Sheriff Bart responds, "excuse me miss, but you're sucking my ARM"

I saw 'First Reformed'. I am fans of Ethan Hawke and Amanda Seyfried. I think this should be re branded Dark Drama/Thriller. It will leave a few questions in your mind.
