*The spots I like are throwing distance from a lake and walking distance from the bath houses, water and toilets: Campsite#2- Sites 25,27 and 29. I will not be reserving these sites so everyone can pay "per night". There are tons of sites available anyway, I just happen to think these are some of the nicest.
These are very basic campsites. No water, no electricity, no Cable tv. Awesome.
All are welcome!
I need a head count so I know how many sites we will use. I'll be in touch with The Cove to let you guys know what the Camp#, and Site #('s) will be.
Come camp out and relax!
Post up if you can attend- I will keep track of everything. Hope to see friends, and meet some new ones!------ Antman
The link above explains everything, but here are some details-
*Every road in The Cove is unpaved and either gravel or dirt. There are true offroad trails but they are reserved for big group events that they hold.
*There are easy/intermediate trails to drive on or hike/Mt Bike (see my pics below!)
*There are ATV trails
*Lots of lakes to kayak, canoe, fish, etc. The fishing looks great with Bass, Walleye, Pike, Crappie. Dinner should be good!
*Boats/Canoes can be rented at $10/hr, or bring your own @ $10/day. No gas motors on the lakes.
*They have a rifle range too!
*Alcohol is welcome and pretty much mandatory.
*It is beautiful and quiet here. I fell in love with the place.

^^^^^^The owner encouraged me to check out the "Camp Outlook" which gains 600' of elevation in 3/4 of a mile. He said it's an easy trail. If you have never been offroading before (me) it has plenty of pucker factor!

I got turned around in the mountain and wound up on some ATV trails and earned my pinstripes! These will buff out No Problemo.
Can't wait- it's gonna be fun!
