I have to say that I had a little fun today and was seeing what it had from like 30ish to 70ish and it wasn't too bad. It didn't seem SLOW to me.

BTW, one of the best fabricators that i have ever met built this car when he was only 16. Everything was custom made by him, fuel rail, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, all piping, intercooler, even his radiator was custom made by him. Absolutely beautiful work! BTW, he is now 19. I'd love to improve the performance of my 3.4L on my 1997 Limited...so I was looking forward to seeing this video. Disappointingly, from that video, it looks like your n/a 4Runner performs the same as any old 3rd gen. In fact, I think mine revs quicker from 3000-5000 Mine is totally stock and well maintained.
There is something odd about the supercharged video. It sounds like it wasn't at full throttle.....you can tell by the sound of it. Supercharged 4Runners should do 0-100 kph in better than 9 seconds...

you have to remember that i have 285/75/16 tires on my runner. You do realize that a TRD supercharger with 7psi of boost is only around 230hp right? Check out the other video that i posted. it is actually smokin the tires. The other video that matt posted on my runner, i feathered it from the start so it would not spin. I dont know what more you expect? So I just drove our Suburban with the V8 and tested going for 30 to over 70 and it was faster than the 4runner.
Matthew you must have done something awesome if your keeping up with V8's.
I could peal out with the Suburban and wasen't even over 2,100 RPM. Good amount of torque.

1) I didn't realize you had larger tires from his post. I just assumed it was a fair comparison. I know larger tires can affect acceleration performance.
2) Yes I know about the supercharger and the power it makes. From what I can remember, the supercharger gives a peak to peak gain of 64 hp and 50 lbs*ft. Therefore it would yield ~247 hp and ~267 lbs*ft at the crank.
3) What more do I expect? I was expecting a lot more from Matt's n/a 4Runner due to his posts. I only posted because it seems to perform like any stock 3rd gen....hence the confused face.

ok this is my last response, you all are just starting to get annoying. If you actually read what i said in my video post that not everything was installed, sh*t, that video was still with stock exhaust and headers, and i had barely even started tuning. And i edited the so that both our videos whould end right after 60mph. Mike where did you get that i was 20. I turn 22 in april. and i didnt say teenagers arent talented, they just enjoy starting fights when they have no clue what they're talking about.
