hankook dynapro 295s deal?

anyone run these or buy from this site?
seemed like a pretty good deal they are running.

i've been planning on 285/75s for my 16s but wouldn't hate a little more diameter. I'm used to ATs but maybe i should try an MT.
not planning on going for the real extra diameter anytime soon

They are very good tires, on and off road. I had a set for exactly 70K.

They do well at highway speeds (balance easily) and handle rock, sand and mud well, side snipes grip well in mud.

I would have got another set but took advantage of a michelin sale at discount tire instead.

If I got MTs, the Hankook Dynapro's would be towards the top of the list of tires I'd consider. I like the look of the tread pattern and the reviews have been good. I ride ATs because my 4runner is my DD but if it wasn't I'd probably get those. Feedback in different driving conditions would be cool.

Yeah i'm used to ATs too and daily my 4runner currently but rarely get on the highway or drive far unless its to offroad. i have 285/70/17 open country right now and love them but hate the 17s. couldn't pass up the deal to go a little bigger and more aggressive for so much cheaper so if they suck i'll know better for next time.
I'll definitely report back once they're on and i can see how they work out.
 
Amazon has the same tire for the same price with free prime shipping if that website falls through or anyone else is looking.
 
They're pretty good for how cheap they are. At least when I got mine they were one of the cheaper mud terrain options in a 35" tire. I've got no complaints about my set, hit a couple screws but they pulled out just fine. Not much tread chunking after rock crawling at least compared to my brother's MTR's. Not real loud. I obliterated a sidewall hitting a large 2 foot tall rock at way too much speed but that would have destroyed any tire.

They don't owe many anything, but I'm replacing them with a taller set of KM3s.
 
I have them in the 265 75 16 size for 2 years now, no complaints about performance or wear. They don't seem to get much love in our forum but I've been happy with the decision to try them. They don't have the uber "macho" look, but they do everything that I need them to do. They're quiet and stay balanced, wet traction is great ( although a few members have reported degrading wet traction as the tires get old) they work great in the snow and icy/slush that the mid-Atlantic gets.

They don't handle thick goopy mud very well, but that's to be expected from almost every A/T out there.

safe to say teh deal is legit now, TBD on how these do though :dancin:
hoping to get the wheels cleaned up this weekend and tires mounted next week.
