Hard to find Specs, Info & Measurements on 231mm 13WL Tundra Calipers & Rotors

Are you sure it's not surface rust? You can use brake cleaner and a wire brush, then paint it after.

Lol...yes I'm sure. When I say they rusted away, I mean they literally rusted away and fell off completely.
I'm from the great white north. I understand what non repairable corrosion looks like.

Doooooooood. Good job using imgur, but please don't throw up the giant full size pics.
Imgur is cool in that respect. Just put an "h" at the end of the file name, and voila, you get a "huge thumbnail" which is just the right size for posting on forums.

The pictures in this write-up have all been restored. I still have to re-link the pics in the wheel fitment guide, but the meat and potatoes is good to go.

FJ wheels and 231 tundra brakes
Hey guys, finally getting around to some projects on my runner. I just went through this whole thread again (as well as the links for yoda and tacoma sites) and noticed the pictures of the wheels have timed out with age. Can anyone confirm if the 231 13WL Tundra calipers will clear the 16" FJ TRD wheel pictured? Thanks so much!

Never heard of anyone using the powestop brand. $81 isn't bad from Napa. Only thing I've seen cheaper is $77 at Oreilly. I used them for the calipers and got everything else from Toyota.

I just installed this kit a few weeks ago, with the heavy duty z36 pads. Main reason was due to the cost shipped to Canada. This kit was by far the cheapest option up here.
Initial impressions are very good. The powder coating is a little thin in some places but still much better than the crappy paint that is typically used.
Might get these and then just through some black on it.

Sooooooo, thought I'd finally tackle this project and upgrade.
Got all my parts, spent approx $370. Tore everything apart and low and behold, the PO already did this modification! Thanks a bunch!
So now, how did I not see this before when rotating tires or some other project. I honestly always thought something was off, as the calipers looked big anyways, but never took a close look. My bad, but in the end, it worked in my favor!
Regardless, I needed new brakes anyways, and my truck got a new set of rotors for the hell of it! Thanks OP for putting this thread together and doing all the heavy lifting in getting this information out for us!

Questions to the experts on the Tundra brake upgrade
Here up north we have to deal with winter tires and black winter rims.
While I do have the split 3 original rims for summer, which I know I have to grind down the interior for it to fit the Tundra calipers, would a generic metal rim fit? Of the same size of course (16 inch) Something like this:
