Hard to find Specs, Info & Measurements on 231mm 13WL Tundra Calipers & Rotors

Ok so i was ready to buy the parts to do the tundra break upgrade then i noticed that on rock auto under my 2002 4runner breaks they offer a z36 upgrade kit for the 4runner which has 319mm rotors and the tundra is a 231mm so my question is which is better both say they our best for towing which i will be doing is there difference? Is the tundra still the better option. I have 16” rims with no lift 2wd and dont want to modify too much any advise would be much appreciated

You're confusing rotor and caliper sizes. The 199mm and 231mm are caliper sizes, the 319mm you mentioned are rotor sizes. Tundra calipers go with thicker Tundra rotors than 4Runners have, that's their main advantage.

Am on the fence. Alternative I was going to do OEM rotors, reman'd 13wl calipers from auto parts store and oem pads. In Timmy toolman youtube video that did this upgrade they went with EBC slotted rotors which I also am considering. Help me choose between the choices! Being indecisive minute by minute.

Do you happen to know all the part numbers for the Calipers, Rotors and Pads and whatever else I might need?

Parts number are for a 05/06 V8 Tundra FYI-

Rotors- 43512-0C011
(Right) Caliper- 47730-0c022
(left) Caliper - 47750-0c022

Since I had a difficult time locating the part number for the spreader clips / anti-rattle clips here it is: 04947-0C010
Each part number comes with 2 spreader clips and they were pretty cheap. A couple bucks if I remember correctly. Anyways, only 1 clip per side is required but I put 2 per side because I had ordered 2 sets of what I thought was only 1 clip which means I ended up with 4 clips instead of 2 like I thought.

Took a few hours but everything went pretty smooth. I may of cut a little bit more of the dust shield but I'm happy.

Has anyone used the Cardone calipers from Rockauto? They look exactly the same as the ones from Napa and when I looked up Napa's warranty it's through Cardone, so I'm 99% sure they're exactly the same. Looks like there's also a coated option as well for even cheaper than regular Cardone calipers.

The only difference I see is Rockauto lists warranty as 2yr/24k miles while Napa is lifetime, so it's basically $93 for lifetime warranty or $53 for 2yr.

I used Cardone's Ultra Premium 199 mm calipers from Rockauto. Quite happy with the look, the finish, and the price.

I bought one of their kits and ended up returning it - the rotor machining was terrible, one side was way thicker than the other. Maybe I got a dud, but I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience.

I just want the bigger caliper 13WL caliper. Which maybe it’s worth just buying new OEM stuff and getting brembo rotors and OEM pads

yes. its the overall diameter of the rotor.

I also have those calipers. 2 years in and they are great. They are OEM calipers rebuilt with new seals & hardware is all.
