...that Urban runners are priced much less than Sr5's, SE's, and Limited's? I've been pricing them lately, and they seem to be almost 2k less on an average. I thought they were a "special" or limited edition type model, the tom tom makes them look immediately old, and perhaps the half leather half suede doesn't hold up well over time, but otherwise I was quite surprised.

Urban Runners are like sasquatch up here....sure maybe they exsist but I've never seen one lol

it must be location...guess the urban runner is not 4 by 4. Funny reminds me of a family move here from fl. and they have a british suv that is a 4 by 2...they had a culture shock last week of the snow....:)

Where have you seen any urban runner for sale? Been looking for a Sport, but havent seen any for a decent price in North FL

Urban Runners were a southeast toyota dealers package. I believe it added the tom tom in dash navigation, blue tooth phone capability, and different cloth seats with leather side accents. I think it was mated to a sport edition.

I have seeing two up here in WI (not for sale). Don't know if they were four wheel drive or not because the door simply says "URBANRUNNER". Maybe that means they were only two wheel drive now that I think about it?

Must depend on location. In Ga they are only outpriced by newer models/limited's. Mine is 4wd and says so on the door. They were either 2 or 4wd. It is built off of a sport but mixes in a 'few' perks of a limited. A nice mix that I like.

When I was shopping for my t4r last year I noticed that a few dealerships didn't really know what they had when they had an UrbanRunner on the lot. They listed them as an SR5 and that seemed to bring the price down.

X2. I have noticed when talking with my local used Toyota dealers that they really don't know what Urbanrunners are. I like them with the exception of the big red X on the back symbolizing the XREAS suspension, but that is easy enough to debadge. Also, although I like the look and concept of the suede/leather seats, I have seeing a few threads on here were the seems split between the two. I have a Sport with Limited wheels, so minus some badging and some different interior trim pieces, I basically have an Urbanrunner.

It may have sold, but there was a 2008 w/ 26k on odometer for around $23,xxx. seemed in fairly good condition, little wear already on drivers seat, it was in central FL, I saw it on autotrader last week, it was on there for a while, If I recall the dealers name I'll PM you with it.

I will agree, since they were only made for two years most dealers are unaware. We were asked who put the badges and interior in ours when we took it in for service. There is no special vin, it is reported as a Sr5/sport so that's usually what its sold as...

I also got mine for the pearl white color. It's noticeably different than natural white. I'm also going to assume since its built off of the sport that it has the larger sport front brakes and smoked chrome headlights. (There is a difference in the sport vs Sr5/limited headlights. Never knew til another member brought it to my attention.) Body color moldings. Just small stuff here and there that make them different..I'd buy another one if I could, in black. Maybe silver..
