hatch letters removed , anyone?

Wondering if anyone has taken these off and what's underneath. Every time I wash the hatch I curse the letters and the way they pick up dirt and grime. be nice if it were all nice and smooth.

Searched? There is thread upon thread of removal, replacement, location knotches for letter placement, pics of the naked valance. Most people search such threads for plastidipping rear letters, CIO

@ chickhien, thanks for the link.

I did search but not interested in plastidipping and thats' what came up. May have missed it, but just wanting to know what it looked like bare, no lettering and not dipped. I see from that post 41 that it is not completely smooth underneath and dipping would probably be needed for a better look, not interested in getting into that.
Recalling the old Toyota truck lettering on the tail gates of the pick ups I always thought no letters and a smooth look was nice.
