HELP: Did my 4Runner come with a rear spacer?

Hey everyone. Longtime lurker here. Bought a 2011 TE from a Honda dealer. Took me a while to track down a used one and drove 7 hours to go get it. Once I got there, it noticed it already had 285's and sat slightly higher than I thought it would. Upon getting it home and doing some more research I found out it has the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks (and I'm assuming stock springs).

The Destination A/Ts that came on it finally wore out so I just upgraded to 285/70/17 Nitto TG G2... now I have rubbing issues. I'm going on a road trip to Colorado (From Texas) in about 4 weeks so I gotta get this fixed fast.

Solution 1: Chop body mounts - possible but need to find some metal and borrow my neighbors welder. If I take it out on any trails while I'm in CO, not sure if that will be enough in itself.

Solution 2: Lift it - Hadn't had a chance to decide on a full lift, so for the time being I was planning to bump the adjustable fronts up to the 3rd setting (2.5" from my understanding?) and add in a rear spacer (1.5" I believe)

Now to the question: While looking under the vehicle and trying to read how to do the suspension upgrades without screwing up my KDSS, I noticed this. It appears to be a white plastic/nylon spacer at the top of the rear springs. Does it already have a rear spacer lift? If so, I can't seem to track down who sells white ones like this. I can only find black spacers. It doesn't quite look stock, but I'm not sure what to do from here. Seems silly to swap white spacers for black if they are going to be exactly the same. Or is this some sort of stock thing that's supposed to be there and the spacer fits under it?

yes, that is a cornfed 1" spacer

Wow, that was easy.... Thanks so much for the speedy reply!

Guess I'm back to searching to see if anyone has done with 5100 on 3rd setting with a 1.5" rear spacer. May be worth just upgrading to new springs in the rear instead of going with a spacer but I don't feel like I've done enough research to know which kit to go with.

you will want to set your 5100s to the 1.75" (3rd setting) if you want to retain that spacer. Search for user CENTCOMPETE he has that setup on his 4runner as do a few others. If you are going to tow anything you'll want coils. SAW 1.5" coils and the front 5100s on the 4th notch (2.5") is a pretty popular configuration....

Yep. Cornfed spacer. Bump the fronts to 2.5" and get rear springs. I have the Icon 2" lift springs in the rear and they are great.

Is the rubbing only on the inside fender liner?

Yes, at full lock on level ground it rubs on only the driver's side body mount/mud flap. Any compression and it will rub driver or passenger body mount/mud flap area. Fronts seam to clear well enough by just trimming the fender liner though I do worry about the bumper edge at certain angles in compression... guess I need a front bumper too haha.

Just looking to fix any drastic issues right now.

Not meaning to hijack. Instead of raising the front 5100s what would be a good replacement spring for the front to go along with the SAW 1.5s

not sure I would go SAWs if I was swapping the front coils... I am partial to OME

I hope the OP can use this.
What would the recommendation be for doing just a replacement with slightly longer and heaver springs What would you recommend. I have tried to peace this puzzle together and have not come up with a solution.

I've been browsing around quite a bit for a long term solution, but having trouble deciding as well. Was looking at the Radflo 2.5 kit or Icon Stage 2. Had OME on my 96 but think I went too stiff with them. Usually do heavy loaded long road trips but it was rough for daily driving.
