Help me decide...

Aftermarket UCAs, or new wheels? I have a limited budget, and after the tires (Cooper AT/3 285s) and lift (Toytec Ultimate, set to about 2.5" of lift) are bought, I have about $500 left to spend. Which aftermarket item would you go with, and why?

If it was me, I'd go with the UCAs first since it's going to provide more functional benefits along with the lift kit. Might as well get the suspension over with all at once, is my vote.

Of course those 285s are begging for a wider rim I'm sure :naughty:

Yep, that's what I've been thinking too. Especially since I'll be taking it easy offroading until the kids are older. So there should be fewer potential bead-popping issues with the stock rims. I surely want to get the suspension done all at once, so you guys are confirming my first instinct. Thanks!

I've been running 285's on the stock wheels for 35K miles with no issues, including airing down to sub-20 PSI and as low as 14 PSI offroading. Not saying that I'll never pop the bead, but haven't yet.
