OP: leave the castle nut threaded on with 3 threads attached, hit the piss out of the spindle where the upper ball joint connects to it, and it literally just pops out. If its stuck in there then let some break free soak on it for an hour or two and try again.
Don't tee off on the spindle but 3-5 solid wacks should do it

sorry what was that? I was busy EASILY removing the BJ on my rig :hug::tongue1: Antmans pic is spot on.... I imagine you are hitting the nut/thread directly..... dont do that.

when i did mine a few weeks back I just smacked the area shown in the earlier picture 4-5 times with the nut on a few rotations and it just popped loose. Driver side did take a few more forceful hits but nothing extreme. if it is seized on there maybe try applying some pb blaster or something, let it sit, and try again.
also, if you have a heat gun or source try heating up the spindle area to get it to "open up" a little. This is most likely destroy the UCA boot but if your changing them out for aftermarket UCA;s probably dose really matter. Make sure the ABS lines are out of the way though if you try this. Don't want to melt one of those guys.

For the most part yes, it's all installed and looks fantastic, i'll post photos later.
We had some trouble with the sway bar, even with the supplied spacers, the driver side kept making contact with the radiator support bracket. We had to grind down that bracket for now.

Thank you for everyone that pitched in, including the multiple suggestions of pounding the shit out of the spindle, which we did.
That piece alone took us 4 fkn hours to remove.

At least I can drive the truck, before that i would have had it to get towed somewhere since the UCA was shot and i could not get new parts on.
This was a ***** of an install, 2 full days. FK ... End Rant

At this point, I have the front half of the XREAS. I pulled the reservoir and the lines to the rear. I took me 5 hours just to do the rears shocks with reservoirs, and lift springs, so I imagine the front coil overs and UCA will take twice that!
