HELP! Suspension install UCA's

At this point, I have the front half of the XREAS. I pulled the reservoir and the lines to the rear. I took me 5 hours just to do the rears shocks with reservoirs, and lift springs, so I imagine the front coil overs and UCA will take twice that!

I'm interested to see how your fronts will fit with the sway bar. Did you get the 2.5 DCS with Resi?

I did. I ordered them at the Off-Road Expo the beginning of October. It took about 4 weeks to get them. They sent the wrong bolts for the rear reservoir brackets, so I had to improvise. I'm anticipating issue with removing the skids, the sway bar, and the ball joints, and removing the UCA through bolt. I got about 2.5 inches of lift in the rear from the TOYTEC springs. I'm sure it will settle a bit. But man, my tires look tiny. lol.

Take it to a shop lol...

Jk, if you have the time and the patience you'll be fine. Gice yourself 2 days toget it done, thats my advice. Hopefully it wont vbe much of a problem

late to this, but one of these pitman arm pullers from Autozone Loan-A-Tool makes super short work of the job. OEM/Pitman arm puller 27016 - Read 7 Reviews on OEM #27016

glad you finally got it, Danny! i heartily agree with your recommendation to plan for way more time than you think it'll take. it's great to be able to sit back and think clearly during those "hmmm" moments without the sound of a ticking clock hammering in your head.

You better delete that photo before someone reports you for UCAA.

UCA puller

Great thread Danny. I learned a lot. Like, why I'll try to find a shop to do this for me. Or, must have several Best Friends ready to help. I do have a few friends here from a local Toyota off-road club, Gold Coast Cruisers who know how to do this. I will know where the tool can be found before I start.
Thanks again for posting the dilemma Danny and for all the solutions. :high5:
