Here's what I don't like about my T4R

Well after a few days with my new to me 4Runner here are my few issues so far... albeit a really short minor few lol
The Trails steering wheel....I guess its the premium SR5 models that get the leather wrapped wheels but the trails hard plastic version is pretty uncomfortably hard. I guess I'll be trying to find a decent cover but I haven't used one of those since the 90s lol. Anyone got a low priced fix?
The pedals.....and this could be just me since I have a size 15 foot, but does anyone else an issue with the brake pedal being a little to close to gas pedal? It seems like every now and then I slightly touch the brake when I'm accelerating. Not enough to actually have them grab but I just know im doing it. I may take a dremel to the brake pedal to shorten it but idk.
The speakers really need an upgrade maybe it's just me as I had a full system in the jeep lol. But this is just me I know there's nothing wrong with the system it's working perfectly fine. Although the radio going back and forth between hd and regular radio every 5mins was annoying so I turned off the hd capability but that's just because of where I live.
So far that's about all lol....I've only put a couple hundred miles on our so far but I'm really digging it! Here's a quick pic from some light trail riding today.

Dremel your foot, not the brake pedal LOL. Of course I'm kidding. Even with a size nine, sometimes my foot gets stuck going from gas to brake. I hear you on that. It's more the positioning of the pedals. They aren't flush with each other, but I'm not sure if any are.

Lol I wish I had smaller feet! It would make shoe a shopping easier for sure

Lol. I even have that problem in my 4th Gen when I wear my romeos. And I'm only a size 10.5! Luckily I've never actually hit the brake, or not been able to get my foot over there fast enough, though.

I honestly can't think of anything off the top of my head that annoys me. I'm sure there's a few things though. It might even be possible to swap steering wheels? See if you can find someone parting out a 5th Gen or one from the stealership.

another option might be finding a brake pad that isn't as thick as the oem. I know when I had my old 12 legacy, the fancy sti brake/gas pedal set was way less than the oem's to resolve the issue of my catching the brake pedal with my shoe.

the stereo's in all but the LE kinda suck from the oem unless you go 3rd party. no way around that or you should have bought a lexus with the ML system

I don't think it's the rubber pad covering the brake pedal as its fairly thin. Even if I had a limited it would a system upgrade lol. That's just me...I already have the 12in sub/box and 1k watt amp out of my jeep that will be going in eventually.

Few other things ive found....
1: It tends to drink the gas a bit when the a/c is on....and yes yes yes...with the lift and tires its expected...but when driving with the wife she has to have the a/c instead of the windows down I get around 17.5-18.5mpg's in the 73-78mph highway driving. When im by myself and crack the windows im back up to 18.5-19.5. Just something I noticed.
2: The 4.6 isnt as smooth as the 3.6 dohc v6 my jeep had....not really something I dont like but just had to get used to it....just like I gotta get used to the slight whine/sewing machine sound this truck makes lol...its very slight but its there on low speed acceleration.
3: Still working on figuring out all of entune lol....for some reason I cant check voice mail on my phone when in entune.....other than that I haven't had any problems with the nav the 4-5 times ive used it.
4: I wish there was another usb port either in the dash or the center console somewhere . I have the one in the glovebox taken up with my 32gig thumbdrive of music. So i just one a charger plugged in the socket inside my center console, I just have to always remember to hit the button thats to the left of the steering wheel

All minor stuff but so fr im really digging the truck. Ive gotten just as many compliments on it as I would get with my jeep.

You mean 4.0L right? Because if you have a 1UR-FE (4.6L V8) under the hood of that thing you need to tell me where you got it!

Also the 4.6L V8 is pretty much buttery smooth (as is most of Toyota's V8's) compared to the 4.0L and most other Domestic V8's

Yes the 4.0 v6...I have a 2012...v8 wasn't offered.
