HID question for people in the know

I switched the bulbs and the same thing happened on the passenger side. I tool a look at the bulb and noticed that the filament on the the "bad" bulb is only 1/4 full. On the other bulb it is totally filled. Sorry for the pic not being the best because of the glare, but you get the idea. @xeondepot

HID bulbs don't have a filament so it's hard to tell if it's a bad bulb or not. When you switched the bulbs did the problem follow it? Also were you able to get one bulb to work on both sides?

Maybe filament isn't the right word, but there is a material in the middle of the bulb in circular part. But yea, same result. Bulb lights up but the light output isn't correct. There is a "void" in the middle. Just like the previous pics

..... the driver side had light coming out but not nearly as strong as the other side.

I switched the bulbs and the same thing happened on the passenger side.

If I interpret this correctly, the "problem" moved with the bulb, thus proving you have a bad bulb.

To double-prove it, swap them back to insure the problem again stays with the bulb.

If so, I assume XD will take of you.
