I put some RTV on the bracket, and riveted them in place. Gonna be there for awhile. Lol

Haha looks great man. Now that you mention VHB tape, I could imagine drilling one big hole and VHBing the rest. Alright, maybe one or two holes for some peace of mind haha.

I put some RTV in the holes before I riveted the bracket on. Should be fine.
Super impressed with this thing for the money. I have used the ARB Taco snorkel on a 96 in the past, it was a really nice snorkel, but almost 500 bucks at the time! You cant beat $130 bucks shipped!
And I love that my intake air temperatures have been within a few degrees of outside temp since I did this! True cool air intake!

I think the quality is pretty good personally. It's not built to be bulletproof but it will definitely take some branches and stuff like that.
Vhb is very legit stuff. I would do at least 2 holes for the fender to help hold the weight but the rest you could definitely vhb if you so desired. I have bumpy monstaliner for paint so vhb wouldn't work so well.
Don't believe that time frame. I ordered mine Friday and according to tracking it will be here in PA (from CA) by this Friday. 1 week total across the country.
I'm nervous to cut the hole in the panel, but can't wait to see it on!
I've got a nice long scratch in my paint that this will hide perfectly! BONUS!!!

I ordered my snorkel through Amazon for $110. 4 days later it was delivered from City of Industry, CA.
Installed yesterday.

Put mine on Saturday. I'm not gonna lie, it takes balls to drill that first hole. I sat there and thought about it for like 30 minutes before I said "screw it." It mounts very flush with the body to be made for a hilux. Very satisfied with it so far.great write up.
